Hey guys i dont know much about leo's contratual rules but i'm sure the phoenix management are at the stage of trying to get him to resign. Personally i feel we have to do all that we can to ensure leo stays, wether that means making banners or chants for him to let him actually know how much he actually means to us fans. I dont know about u guys but he is an idol to me and quite a few of my mates, it would be a heartbreak to see him go. We need to make sure leo doesnt become the next smeltzPhoenixlova2009-09-26 17:47:07

Hasn't he already said in the past he's more than happy to stay and play for the rest of his career if he had to?
Permalink Permalink

yea but wouldn't it be better to actually have him sign on the dotted line

I would be surprised if he went back to play for another Aussie A-League club. He did leave one of them to come to us. But yea, get him signed again for sure.

I think Bertos is technically a better player than Smeltz and we have to keep him.  The only worry is lack of scoring, but 2 goals this season isn't bad at all.  I really don't know what it was Smeltz had that made him so good.  Sense of positioning?  He never really seemed head and shoulders above any other forward (except James Robinson) at anything.

Probably our style of play, our only real chances came from outside.

A good start would be for you "and quite a few of your mates" to do just what you are suggesting than. Look forward to seeing/hearing your efforts at tomorrows game.

Behind where the subs sit. Good spot if you want to see the game and get the full benefit of the YF in song. Sounds better over there than in amongst them.

No there are 3 Russian Subs out in the harbour, you can see them from the 2nd to last row of Aisle 12, if the moon is right and a North Westerly is blowing through and if the Phoenix are winning with 23 minutes to go...

No they don't!  There is the 4th official and a camera man on the halfway line, between Aisle 9 and 10.

Do you guys buy your tickets there or just wander over and sit where you want? I ask because last week we found it too sunny and hot on the other side and came over and sat behind the Nix bench. Agree, its a great spot to watch and especially good for the youngsters to see the subs warming up in front of them.

I'm with you napier and lonegunman i sit in aisle 11 sat in the same seat for all games [2 and bit seasons]including beckham game, its not my allotted seat, never been asked to move over, but you dont have to worry there are plenty of seats nobody worries where you sit, make yourself at home. I to think the atmosphere good in isle 11 for full force of fever chants.
