Frankly Sky sports has sucked ever since Martin Crowe got the head job there. FFS 3 channels of golf Sunday afternoon! He might have been  a decent batsman but he sucks BIG timme when it comes to sorts programming. Sky Sports "highlights" being a prime example. A waste of a channel.

Yeah, I hate when these uppity free-to-air channels get their greedy mitts over these one-off sporting occasions because the coverage is almost always sub-par and greatly inferior to what's offered by pay networks. 

And furthermore, instead of getting a seasoned commentator who's been calling games week in and week out, we get treated to these two-bit network hacks who are either hell bent on watering down the style of commentary to compensate for the "average" viewer, or he'll talk NON STOP for 90 minutes, leaving a goddamn commentary-shaped stain over what should've been a great television spectacle.

That, and the fact Channel 10 can't do sports to save themselves.

I used to be vehemently opposed to pay TV getting big sports matches as I can't afford Sky... but now I look at it as an excuse to head down to Four Kings, which is more fun anyway 

anyone having any luck with sopcast? the GD sports channel seems to be sh*te.

My broadband has been cut back for the rest of the month goddamit so using Sopcast is not an option haha ... I just use Livescore for any updates.

Guandong is playing...not impressed with the quality but that could just be the connection. Language barrier kinda sucks...any English subtitles? Heck, even Italian subtitles would work! :P

Wish my brother were here, he speaks Mandarin... but since Guandong = Canton, then the commentary is probably in Cantonese.
