I'd keep Sigmund. IMHO he's as good as McKain and has shown he can handle pressure at the highest level of the game. I'm more worried about Hearfield, who has looked defensively fragile in the last two games, and to a lesser extent Lochead.
Well said.Mckain first though

Refresh my memory - were you the guy who started the 'tops off' tradition at the  Sydney / Phoenix match three seasons ago?

If so, I'm looking for a repeat performance

Heading into town to see if I can get a Nix shirt.  Bet they have gone up in price now.
Went to another bar here in Sydney to watch the game last week.. right by the stad... was full of Sydney fans.. they were ok though.  We weren't playing them though so could be diff.  Can't remember the name was right by the stad.

Fox and Lion it is then a.

LF1 .. are you going to be calling the game from Sydney? If not, will there be radio commentary of some sort?  My mother does not have Sky but she does love your calls!!!!

Why do I feel as if I have been peeping through someone's windows?!! I just went to  have a look at the Syd Forum (not to post, just lurking, honest!)

There is a match thread there that suggests  (amongst other things) that Manny is going to be our weak link  ???

"If Ifill plays injured (as he will) then the rest of the team will need to carry him defensively. Obviously. Manny Muscat is perhaps a weak link for them then. We could overun them in the midfield in that case. Will be interesting."  Posted by Sooty this arvo.

My question is .. is it bad netiquette (splg?) to go and look at the opposition forum?  If so, me bad.

Prob should  be heartened by the fact that our match thread is longer,  and our pax was higher!

Sigmund is not as good as McCain and is half as quick.
Ben will not play.

No Cronus, all is fair in love and war, and this is war. It is good netiquette. Keep up the surveillance of the enemy!

No. Just don't post any dickhead type stuff there.  We don't want to get a bad reputation (like Melbourne does here  because of Kiwipie)

Just going to bed here in Bangkok - possibility that I'll miss the game due to work tomorrow, but will hopefully catch the 2nd half.

Have been wearing my 07 RR despite the red shirt protests here today, though didn't actually venture out of my street.

Anyway, in case I only get radio commentary or highlights, all the best to the boys, and I'm looking  forward to seeing the Grand Final in full next week.

Thank you for your positive reinforcement of my late night sneaky peek!

Yes, promise not to do anything silly .. in fact I may not even go back .. we've got the best forum here, we don't need the rest!

Next problem .. over the guilt as above, am feeling depressed   about the happy smiley news pic of Smithy and co heading off to Sydney in this morning's paper  .. boo hoo ... wish we could all be there ...
