ward dropped to the bench? he wont be happy

makes the bench look a little less lean

but yeh, he might feel a bit miffed

Smith has earnt his start though

and Timmo might just pop up with a goal

be interesting to see how the midfield provides cover for Sattelite and the others w/o leaving Greenacre too isolated up front

Hmmmm!!  no start for Ward.
So he has gone for Brown and Smith as holding midfielders. Smith must have impressed Rickie last week. Bench does not look very attacking with Lindsay and Griffith. I guess Ward will come on after an hour to spell Daniel.

Must say I am a little nervous about this game. With a Muscat and a fit Ifill we would be hot favourites but now its a bit more in doubt. Also there is a slight feeling that those quality attackers in the Victory team are going to click sooner or later.

Its a big day for Tsattalios...he's admitted hes never player RB before. He will have a busy time against Rojas and the other Victory attackers. He looks reasonably quick and agile....he will need all of that tomorrow. My pick....Nix 2-1

Yep a team with that calibre of players should click at some point ,lets just hope it' s not tomorrow against our threadbare squad .
Still we are at home and if the crowd can get into Marco's head and Tsattoalis runs his arse off against the wee traitor and if we  give heaps to  has beens  Kewell and Thompson we could do it ,big loss not having Muscat who has been in great form !

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

After listening to the phoenix hour the interesting thing for me is the mention of MV having some in-camp troubles with a dressing room bust up last week. By all accounts they're frustrated and that's obvious but to hear that sort of thing is going on is encouraging for us because poor off-field relationships often transfer on to the pitch.

In contrast in the same segment Dura and Siggy both talk of how well our team gels and how important that is to how well we perform on the pitch.

Their obvious advantage is who's on their card but ours is the environment we have within our team.

One thing is for sure, a trip to Wellington will be a hard place to turn around their in-house troubles. If they can do it they should win but I think even with the side we have at the moment we will make it tough for them to do so. No to mention the grief they're going to get from our fans.

I'm quite excited about this game, COYN.

Blind loyalty notwithstanding I think we might struggle to keep them at bay. They will certainly target Tsattalios and try to run him ragged. We will also definitely find out for sure whether Warner is any good or not.

However the longer we keep them scoreless the more that internal dissension in their ranks will play into our hands. Sounds a bit piss weak but I wouldn't be that unhappy with a point!

Tsattalios might have his James Musa game. I'm not confident of a positive result for us. Be happy if better facilities Marco gets back on the plane with no points (or goals for that matter)

It's going to cause a few problems for A-League teams, luckily we are at home next week again.

QANTAS trans-Tasman flights are still running, so there shouldn't be much disruption to the A-League.

That is actually a large amount of pre-sales. Nix games largely depend on walk up crowds and the pre-sales are usually around the same mark. This one has sold well and hopefully the walk up crowd is good with the sun out and Marco being in town. (Harry who?)

They need somewhere to hide from us, even then I'm sure they'll still be able to hear us.
