aye... he can't give us the distribution hes there for either, and as we know from playing people out of position at right back, its a no no, and we should leave it at that. if we play 4 at the back Christie plays, hes the only one whos played there regularly this season.
also i don't mind him shooting, if he produces more shots like on 30 metre ON TARGET drive last weekend, he can go for it

Hmm, I hope Jeremy never reads this forum. Poor guy. People putting Ferrante in the back line before him and all...

Anyway, I think there'll be 4 at the back. It is Melbourne at home after all.

I was bored, the results: a slight mod on the stick sports figures.

and for people who want to use the figures and pitch

I don't think we can really criticise Ferrante's shooting any more after the shot from 30metres last weekend, and the free-kick against the bar the week before.

Wow some people are posting terrible teams...

If you play 3 at the back you need to fit wing-backs who are actually going to defend.
Daniel and Elrich are far to attack minded to play there and it also wastes them as they are better going forward. If we play 3 at the back i'd be surprised if Ricki didn't play Ferrante and Lochhead as wing-backs(or maybe Lia).

Lochhead isn't a centre back!

How about the fatigue factor? I know they're professionals 'n all but some of those All White boys are going to be pretty tired playing 3 games in 7 days, not to mention all the travelling. Might have some bearing on the starting line-up.

Johnson and Aloisi are both out with injuries and won't travel, so that changes the dynamic a bit...

We can play Ferrante and Brown as holding midfielders instead Inter rocks2007-11-22 21:15:55

Godammit! Aloisi was great last week and I believe Johnson was vital helping our defence. Definately will not have a back 3 now. I suspect they were both carryng injuries into the game and just aggravated them though. Guess we didn't have much choice.

There's no room for another team on the field!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

interesting to see draper in the squad ahead this time, of Brownlie and costa

doubt whether he'll get in to 15, unless Ricki starts both Smeltz and Covs

Like your spirit mate, but that's way too attacking for my liking for a game against Melbourne away. Well, anyone really.

I'd rather see Costa in the squad. He looked sharper than what I remember of Draper from Pre-season

i wonder if Ricki is giving him a trip to keep his chin up, after that speculative story in the Sunday News (the one that took a punt on who might be moving on at season's end)

or he may be whipping them past Mossy in training
