It was about 35m not 50+ but I get that it probably seemed that way in that euphoric moment

Living in Christchurch I've only had a handful of Fever experiences, the Chch games have been largely underwhelming but my favourite game was the first trip to Dunedin.  If memory serves me correctly it was one of the first events in the new stadium.  Had a few bevvies at the Long Room in the cricket grandstand before and after the match, re-lived past glories in the student bars around North Dunedin and a decidedly seedy road trip home the next day.

Also, Ahmads phenomenal one-man marketing efforts.

I think you're letting nitpicking get in the way of a good yarn, but you're also doing it poorly. Just PAST half way means exactly that, something like 35/40 metres, as opposed to just BEHIND half way which would mean 50+ metres.

And on the doing sex wrong front, I have a 6 month old baby, so I'm not doing sex at all.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Yeah but it didn't last as long as the celebration of Browny's wonderstrike.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Last thing we need in this thread is bickering.

Appologies. Did think you meant our side of half way. Either way great goal and great memory.

Whatever happened to Ahmad, gone the way of Junior82 as well.  I remember Ahmad won fan of the year, was it the 2012/2013 season?

When I lived in wgtn I worked almost all game days so only joined the yf a couple times and could never travel in summer because of work. My favourite post of all time is the one in my sig from Fruglo, sums up these forums and supporting the nix pretty well I reckon! And despite not being heavily involved in yf I have huge respect for all who contribute so much time and effort as well as making game days something quite unique in NZ sport. Hats off to YF for a great ten years

My favourite fever memory is the first set of photos and little story from the Fever Dream's recipient.  Brought a tear to the eye.
