Fever moments or Nix moments in general?

Im not part of the Zone, so here is a couple memories of things on the forums I remember fondly:

The guy checking up on the PAX of the home finals games in 09/10

The investigative journalism by forumites on trialist Sery de Campos.

Favorite Phoenix moments:

Ifill's goal against the Jets in the 09/10 semi

Vuka's penalty against North Queensland

Rojas vs the Victory, walked away from that game in awe of what he could become.

Edit: Changed since it is Fever moments.

Brandon almost getting into a fight with the food truck owner at the Hutt Wreck after beer when through the opening in the roof.

The Liverpool blanket incident!

Horus, God of PAX! Good times. Even had his own Wikipedia article for about 10 seconds.

First shirts off in Sydney

First game ever (pre-season) against Sydney when there were 3k there and it felt absolutely crazy, and we won 3-0

Fever moments?

1 Fever Bus trip to Napier - The best ever trip to a game.

2 Fever getting in with the membership sales to boost the numbers last year.

3 Brandon standing outside Wellington station or Lambton Quay, giving away tickets to encourage others to games...which would then be picked up by Matt and progressed to Fever Dreams.

4 Fever meet up at the BB when it was so full we spilled out onto the street.

5 Fever meet ups at the Bellevue before the Hutt Rec games.

Number three is my proudest moment though. From something so small to something awesome. And I have always appreciated how it started and why and then what it became.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

That first game is one of my favourites JD as people introduced themselves at the BB and the air was thick with hope and anticipation and BS.

Then the first A league game against the Victory

Another favorite was the pre season drinks to have we used when some of the players and Phoenix management turned up.The year they out numbered the fever must have meant it was doomed.LOL

Remember that article was after reading that i joined up.

The Hutt Rec games were great, especially Patrick stealing sausage rolls from the corporate tent. The conga line and singing always look on the bright side of life as we finished last were gold too - really drives home fandom can be fun even when your team sucks

Yeah me too, so happy to be a part of Fever Dreams and to have given so many families now from Ronald McDonald House a day out to watch the Nix

Game against Melbourne in season 1 (first game - I'm not sure), we organised to play the Melbourne guys in a 6 a side game.  We turned up with basically the wharfies first team with Andrew Dewhurst up front.  We smashed them about 10-0, Dewhurst was a bit odd, he took it super seriously.  They were terrible, could hardly kick a ball.  Frankie Mac then got interviewed about it on the sports show on the radio on saturday afternoon by John Morrison.  Super weird

No! You're supposed to be miserable if your team loses, not have fun! That attitude is exactly why this team isn't top of the league every season.

Still get tears of laughter watching all those kids run to follow us into what could quite easily have turned into a knife fight into the away bay ?

One of my favourite Fever moments was the time a few seasons ago when we had a bus from the ROF to 4 Kings after the last game of the season. Basically sang Ricki Herbert's Yellow Army at max volume for the whole trip, much to the shock and horror of drivers and pedestrians on the route. Good times.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Patrick, Hatter, and a certain Feverette. Awesome. I was over in Ailse 12 that game and it looked bloody good. Very well done and as the commentators said, fans mixing and getting along. This Saturday, Conga II ?

that was really odd. I remember Dewhurst smashing the ball 15 yards wide for the umpteenth time in the game, and the look of pure disdain on the face of the savagely hungover Melbourne keeper as he had to trudge off 50 yards to get the ball again.

Wasn't that where we met Kiwi Pie?

My first time in the zone, remember that "Ernie Merrick's Yellow Army" chant going for ages. Best bit of that clip, is how loud the zone is, even at 0-4, & with the conga members gone.

Perhaps not my favourite but one of my vividest memories from the Zone is the Brownlie shot in Game 1 against the Victory. We'd got it back to 2 - 2 and it genuinely felt like we were sucking the ball into the net. Brownlie has a shot, and from the angle of the zone it was going in and we were going to nick it. Then it takes a bobble and goes just wide. Remember it so clearly.

One of my favourite moments was the Siggy and Manny "Legends of the Phoenix" tifo. Was great to be able to say thanks to two who gave it all for our club, and the tifo turned out way better than I expected it to!

Due to the size of it, I hadn't seen it fully laid out until the day came to rig it at the stadium - and it looked sharkloads better in real life  than my design in Photoshop did!

Can remember the zone signing 'Smeltzy, Smeltzy whats the score? vs GCU in Rnd 1 2010/11 when we were 3-1 up. Culina scored a late equaliser and he gave the zone an absolute serve. Showed just how much the zone's chanting got under his skin.

The conga line, the clever and loud chanting (Fever B, who are ya, always look on the bright side of life etc), joining in with and being friendly to the away fans. Peak fever.

Mine is the Fever Bus tua to Palmy for the pre-season friendly... The food fight in the Manakau Hotel (I believe Deanna started that!) followed by the Disco Bus from Manakau all the way to the Ave.... That was a pretty amazing day/night! :-)

The 12 Pubs of Jardel in Newcastle was a legendary day as well!
