Much respect LG. Top effort! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you actually are the only one.

I'm not nearly as dedicated, and have always mourned the fact that one of the games I missed (due to family commitments) was the 6-0 v Cold Ghost. Will always haunt me.

My favourite games would be #1 (will never forget the atmosphere and the comeback), and 5-0 vs Victory I think.

I wonder with the 100th home and away games coming up, if there wasnt a marketing opportunity for a dvd showing the goals for and against or highilights of our biggest wins etc? Have the club thouht about it? Or are they even aware of it? It is a hjstorical moment just as the players reaching o e hundred or one hundred and fifty games.

ThewYthe team are playing here would be a chance to cash in on it. Dadis bicycle kick goal, Piemans turn and shoot, Aloisis red card, that first game 2-2. 6-0 win, 5-0 win, Lochheads goal, Leos long range goal in the rain......

Would suggest the market for those types of things are pretty small LG.

I'd forgotten about that. Last game of the season right? Where he clearly just thought "f*ck this" and hacked someone down.

Yeah, that whole day was just unbelievably crap.

What are you on about? Apart from some of the locals, the shark ground, result, we had a great day out.

not only the last game of the season but his last game for the club, i guess he knew he would not be missing any games for getting sent of.

I thought he was in line with a certain Zidane. Good enough for him in a world cup final, good enough for me in my last game. ?

Or was it the other way around?

Was one of those Dunedin games that weird "regional round" concept, meaning technically it was neutral territory?

we were discussing what the worst game was on the weekend actually.

Came down to the ring of dirt, and that midweek perth game where the weather was stormy, the crowd was 3k and we lost in the last minute thanks to a Warner howler (iirc).

Best would have to be the home playoffs, and 6-0 over Gold Coast.

Any others to add?

Also I think I have attended around 90. Wish I had kept a proper count now.

The worst I saw was the draw with Newcastle at Napier last year. Dissapointing for a whole host of reasons.

On reflection  I think you are right and it may have oddly even been a Roar home game as it was the year Queensland was under water.

Not taking anything away from LGs awrsome achievement.

Gunman - are you counting the first league game in Dunedin in your 100? Because that was a neutral game (FFA took the profits), not a Nix game.

I'm waiting for Piney to get back to us all on here, I have just attended the A League fixtures held here in NZ that have the Phoenix playing. If I stand to be corrected, so be it. I have the games coming up covered just in case.

My favourite trip was definately Napier - The bus ride alone was brilliant. The game was ok and the pub we drank at was packed and fun.

LG hearty congratulations. I reckon that whatever is stated as a FFA home game is the count to use.

When there are 100 games at the Caketin, then you can get yourself another t shirt, no need to count them tho, Ballane will let us all know..

I am surprised there isnt another stalwart so far with the same record, surely you cant be the only one

if i lived in wellington i would of gone to every game in wellington, i think i am close to 90 ish but have not really been keeping a count. do not go to away home games as i do not want to support something i do not agree with.(though i did go to the ring of dirt because it was so close to wanganui)..

to me every game is an away game, hopefully one day they may play a pre season match in wanganui so i can attend a real home game where i do not have to travel

I'm pretty sure I'd be close to the 90+ club. Think I've missed 1 or 2 home games in the last 4 years, prior to that I managed to get to every one.

I hope it is fine this Sunday. The club, the FFA and Piney all say that tonight is our 100th "Away" game and Sunday is our 100th "Home" game.

I am very surprised no one else has posted on here that they are in the same position.

I cant remember who said it, but I thought I'd heard 100 A League games had been achieved by someone here early last season?

How would that be possible without a lot of trips across the ditch?
