Hey, Live in Adelaide, going to game. Would love Shane to score, old team!! What a buzz. Nix are good.....hey every team needs a bit of luck and the players to grab it! Daylight savings starts here Sunay so time diff only 2.5 hours (behind NZ). Always tough call, but NIX can do it, We'll only be small group, but cheering for them. Hope were LOUD enough!! GO NIX!!

The last time we lost at home we won away the very next week.

Looking at the back four, i think we would have to be happy with a point from this one. Likely we will have to absorb a lot, and look to counter - gonna be a tough one

lia at right back please.

e.g. lockhead v christie
(lockhead wins easily as he is just a better player. his attacking crosses add another level to the nix and christie just cant deliver (no pun intended). tou score goals from crosses and an attacking fullback is lethal.)

lia would do better in the role. its best for the team

adelaide comin off to wins in a row phoenix coming of 3 losses this is no way near a full strength adelaide side thow its actually pretty weak and if felipe daniel semltz and elrich bring their a game and if the defence make no stupid mistakes i think it will be 2 1 to the phoenix or 2 1 i hope

I think we need defenders who can defend at the moment, never mind creating chances.

totally agree. We have Daniel, Elrich, Aloisi, hopefully Felipe and Smeltzy to create chances.
Let's focus at achieving both a win and possibily a clean sheet.

Salley is out now too! Great for the Nix.
We should be able to score at least a goal or even two!
But with two 20 year olds in central defense plus a midfielder learning the ropes at right back.....Well!!!!!!!!!!
My heart says Nix 2-1, my head says 3-1 to Adelaide....hope not
GO THE NIX!!!!
Next week vs Perth is for the wooden spoon.

We have found our level, and after the disaster in the dying minute last week, the lads are playing as a team, with many chances created.  Elrich brings the confidence to 'have a go' outside the box, which will spread to the rest of our strike force. 2-1 to Phoenix

as all have said a tough game, thier injuries might help,

Felipe and Elrich might just prove to be a combination who utterly stuff Adelaide -here's hoping!!

(not saying those two are starting  -but perhaps as the game progresses)

CMON PHOENIX!!!!

Give Christie a break! I HATED THAT man when watching the Kingz and Knights, but he's really impressed me at rightback this season. Well done that man!!

ricky's comments about not focusing so much on attacking/entertaining in away games might suggest daniel and Elrich wide and Brown, aloisi, lia in the middle - with felipe on the bench

but like you i'm keen to see how much damage Elrich and Felipe can create in tandem

from HN's report Felipe looked ok v Team Welli

I'd really like to think if felipe's fit, he plays.

No point rushing him or chucking him in at the deep end. Start Felipe on the bench and give Lia a go with Aloisi, Brown and Elrich. Then bring on Felipe later for impact. Hopefully George is given a go aswell. Smeltz, Elrich, Daniel, Felipe and George would be LETHAL!

Liverpoolfan1 has said that George isn't in the squad (from a-league site)

I think he has to get a run, but Ricky seems to be content to give Felipe 70 mins at most, even when he's 'fully' fit.

I think a disadvantage of pairing felipe and Elrich up later in the game is that if one has started then he will struggle to keep up with whichever one comes off the bench (niether is your classic 90 minute man at present)

0-0 would be a great result but to be honest i fear a pasting tonight you could drain spaghetti with our defence !
Hopefully its one of these rare instances when im wrong!

Don't worry - Radio Sport has coverage of the game, perhaps Andrew Dewhurst commentates from the studio, or the live feed from Adelaide.

Go the Nix.
