I see this site is nearing its 5000th member. Just for a bit of fun, when do you think that target will be met?? I reckon about July 20th. Will that 5000th member be recognised in some form? How about the number 5000 appearing below an 07 on a Retro Ricki??

Come to think of it, although I was never a trainspotter, I 'd be interested to learn who joined and what number member on here they were!

I should warn people that I periodically have a clean-up of false id's and things.  We've been sitting around 4850 for 2 months due to this.

Not your 3001 ones, probably not the other either.

It's more Russian SPAM accounts and things created by bots.

Take that back!

As long as the Russians spam in the Worlds Longest Thread you should let them stay!

One disappointment I do have is after looking through the membership list, is the amount of people whom have never posted or only posted once or twice. Don't they realise their input is as important as anyone elses?

Just checked the Tards forum - they've lost about 2000 members (must've had a big clearout) which now makes us the A-League forum with the largest Membership

Yellow Fever - 4916
Tards.net - 3655
SFCU - 3383

The rest - piffling 3 figure numbers not worth checking

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

Great work now lets get them all as members and be up there in membership numbers compared to the Aussie clubs.

Speaking of 5000 targets, how well do you think we'll do on the Phoenix main page target of 5000 season ticket holders?

Hmm - evidently the 2500 existing members didn't renew in the 2 weeks open to them (about half did). I'm thinking perhaps the high 3's - low 4's seems the reality of what we'll achieve.

Hope we get the 5K though.

5k would be awesome and I am guessing it will be about 4k this year going over 5k the following year on the back of a Phoenix grand final appearance.

Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro and Wellington Phoenix, my two teams til death do us part.

stevo, this topic started out rabbiting on about the  YF membership push for 5 K, hence the "58 to go" comment

but occasionaly it might have flicked over to the club membership - which as you say sits at just over 2k (there's a topic for that too - somewhere)
