As in, Ricki has been offered a tasty right winger, but he might not sign him because he doesn't have the same experience as Daniel or Campos.

yeah even campos and lochhead being up there could hav been joking or under false impression i thought that both had signed judged by the title of the article but the title was misleading after reading the whole thing

Unfortunately wiki is commons. However, it normally doesn;t take long for stuff to get deleted. But Wiki does have a rep for being a bit innacurate . . .

Even if he had no gam time at Hajduk Split might be better an some cast off A league players and NZFC players.

Don't count on it. Melbourne underpaid on Fred and appear to want to do the same with any other imports. If Nix are serious about getting him, there's a good chance. However, Ricki is already demonstrating that he won't pay more than he feels a player is worth.

That's good....$1.8 mil Doesn't provide alot of breathing space so he must take stands and if the player disagree, it's best to move on.

My source says that he wants more money and Ricki knows he's not worth it.

Basically Campos wants the same deal that Daniel is on - but whereas Daniel has proved himself in the Brazilian 1st division, Campos couldn't get a game at Split.

Note that you can grab videos of Daniel on youtube but you can't find anything about Campos.

Don't lose any sleep over him - there's plenty more fish in the sea.

Oh, and the rumour about Melbourne being after him is being put out by his agent - not the club.

It's just rumours for now..But if it turns out that Melbourne do get him..It will not be a big loss, it will be a headache for Ricki and Terry but I am sure that they also ave other players in their sights and if the Campos deal falls through he can be replaced.

Considering Brockie walked out on a second year at Sydney I think we can assume his motivation is playing not money.

I know Pedersen was using it as a light-hearted example of what can happen but let's remember it was a joke, not a factual statement on what drives a young New Zealand player.

If the rumours about Campos holding out for cash are true then we don't want they guy anyways. We want players who are keen to play football (whie obviously notn aceepting rediculously low wages) and play well for the club. Campos really doesn;t seem to have the profile or game time of Daniel. I won't be crying if we lose him to Melbourne.

You're source is wrong. If you can prove otherwise I'll fly over to NZ and buy you a beer or ten.

If I were an agent I would be naming name's in order to get other parties interested and drive my fee up. Thus far, the only player who's name has got out early, sparking a bidding war of sorts iis Campos - who, coincidentally, is one of the players I've been most negative about.

Well as advised by someone else above he had no game time for Split and when he was in Brazil he must have been 2nd division.

So weighing it up Daniel was in Div 1 and actually playing in Europe so you think about it.
