It's not who is handing out flyers - its the fact that in this day and age a bar/big dunc appeals to you the punter by talking about "lovely ladies"... and I'm sure both BB & 4K's wd like to have a bigger female clientele but its things like this that make places like that unappealing to many of my mates and I. plus I'm defending you/ the yf/punters honor cause trying to attract you with the whiff of boobies assumes you all have no brains

Be thankful they're not the smoke-filled dark dungeons of old, or anything like Lovelocks.
Bars have "Ladies Nights", and I don't see complaints about the ladies getting free drinks and/or discounts on drinks?
Bars attract clients through promos like this one, and the Oktoberfest, which I thought was a laugh.
Considering how overly serious every hole-in-the-wall bar in Wellington likes to take themselves, having a bar owner who puts on something a bit fun is a nice change IMO.

I merely stated that some females myself included will go out of our way not to spend our cash at establishments that promote themselves that way. Since I'm don't seem to be salivating over the whole notion of "FREE" alcohol the way the rest of you do I'm guessing I prob spend more than you guys do when out most weekends and BB & 4K's will never get those $$
