Last time I was part of a roast, it was on a stag do, and cost me $100.  I ended up between Carlton Cole and Nigel Reo-Cocker.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked

I have to say I'm confused on this - according to my schedule, the game is on at 3pm NSW time, but SKY have the kick-off as 4pm our time. I can't see how this can be possible - the kick-off should be at either 5pm or 6pm our time, depending on when NSW go into daylight savings. Has anyone thought of emailing SKY to check this out?

Sky has recently spent the money it saved by not broadcasting the all blacks on a time machine.

Seems Sky are only marginally more competent than Ticketek. Daylight savings doesn't start in NSW until 28 October, so it has to be a 6pm kickoff our time...unless Sky have managed to create a disturbance in the time/space continuum...

It is at 6pm, checked with mates in Sydney, daylight savings doesn't start there for another 3 weeks or so.

The kick off is 2:30pm here according to foxtel - it might be 30 mins build up though so 3 pm which = 6pm nz.

Correctamundo. The handy little wallet sized pamphlet of Phoenix fixtures (get one from the club store if you don't have one) says kick off is at 1500 local and 1800 NZST. That would put Newcastle 3 hours behind NZST, the same as Brisbane was last week. Makes sense to me.

classic thread! -we should rename it  -"what's the time Mr wolf?"

the a-league web site says 3.00 in aus
their version of tiketek is selling tickets for 3.00 in aus

there's 3 hours time difference

sky says 4.00 here

there'd be some f'doff Jets fans if they kick off two hours early just coz someone at sky hasn't learnt to tell the time yet

perhaps someone should ring bollock puncher Joel at 3. am their time and ask him what time he expects to hear the call "seconds away round 1!"

Sky are famous for stuffing things up. last week they had barcelona playing man u, then stuttgart in the champions league straight after each other. I actually phoned them and they insisted that the Barca -Man u game was correct

MMMMM roast sounds good

Im pretty sure the game kicks off at 6pm guys
Sky mustve just made a typo, unless they intend to give us yellow fever boys a couple of hours worth of buildup, which if it were a rugby or laegue would sound about right.

according to sky (and judging by this thread they aren't the most reliable) ESPN are replaying the England vs Estonia match - are the Fever Lounge showing this?

It's on live at 3am, but i need to save my zz's for getting up at 8am to watch the mighty egg-chasers bash some frenchies

Watch the football live, and if you're really desperate to see the egg-chasing, watch the replay on Sunday arvo.

Easy as.

I have a solution for one and all - why not turn up at half past four (to be sure) and park up with a feed and a quiet bevvy or two?  Then there's no way you'll miss it.  Simple solution that will keep everyone happy ;)
