Buying tickets for Sydney was fairly painless - apart from having to register for Tickettwat in Aus (although they seem a lot more onto it than their NZ counterparts).

Can someone give me a reallly quick response (I don't have time to read all the posting threads) , I have pc access for the next 10  minutes and need to buy my sydney game tickets.
Where are we (yellow feverites) located, is there a zone for us or are we just "away supporters" with a pot luck seating preference?
Cheers
Mossy
p.s. Air NZ just stung me $917 return...but what the hell !

Sorted.

Hope to see more there on Saturday, let's hope the airlines come to the party so others can make it too.

Chicken and the egg situaion exists though, as long as there are seats still available they won't add extra capacity, and no one wants to buy those leftover seats at those ridiculous prices. I've stumped up $917with Air NZ just to make sure I get there.

BTW, Jetstar were running Akl-Syd return for $450.

Pac Blue were doing Wn -Syd via Brizzy for $750ish.... that was my next option.

Good luck !

The away bay is practically the whole end behind the goal.

Will be more than enough seats for all the Nux fans...

..... meanwhile, on the back page of the Dompost today it quotes TonyP saying that he is looking for QANTAS to provide extra capacity for players and fans to Sydney.

Not sure if there is an update on this

Get tickets in Away Supporters Area - Southern End Bay 3.

That's directly behind the goal. I was told Row A is right next to the pitch, but appears not available for sale anyway.

I saw there were a number of tickets sold in Row Q/R/S in Bay 3.

Yeah it's only added seats, not ticket discounts. So get whatever cheap flights you can get NOW before they sell out.

Check different airlines for cheap flights in different directions. We found Air New Zealand cheapest going OVER (sunrise flight Friday morning) and Pacific Blue cheapest coming BACK (Late Monday arvo transit via Brissie).Ard Righ2010-03-09 13:59:04

Spoke to Air NZ - only 1 seat remaining on the direst Sunday flight back to Welly on the Sunday.

"Is there some rugby on over there or something?"

No wonder there's no cheap flights Air NZ don't watch TV or read papers...
Glad I booked my flights pissed on Sunday eve!!

What a brill away day that was!
Unfortunately Sydney this weekend not a goer for me, but deffo on for Melbourne. But flights for that already look tricky. Hopefully contingency plans by club/qantas/whoever for gettting fans to GFinal in place (if that's not jinxing it too much).

I know, I know, its serious!
