You are confusing bandwagoners with people that criticize the team's performances. If they were posting on here then, and still are, how are they bandwagoners?

I've been there through thick and thin, through knights and nix, just because I moan when the team is playing below its potential doesnt make me a bandwagoner.

This topic is precious, kinda of playground stuff..

I for one was worried that is was another 3rd season Kingz fiasco.
All hope and promise but ends up sh*te...

Pleased that the ups are outwaying the downs.. to beat the league leaders is very up!

Agreed! Does this mean I don't get my Pie then?

Cannot believe how many bandwagoners there are. I am a loyal Nix fan  and all my friends know it, and throughout the end of last season and after the preseason cup this year i have had to put up with so much sh*t. My favorites were "I enjoy it when the Phoenix lose" and "There going to come last, you may as well except it now" and yet those same people are only to happy to discuss the weekends game and how theyl definitely be watching the next game on sky.

I have posted on here when the phoenix were playing bad (especially right after that loss to Perth) when i ripped into a few players, but i maintain at least everything was said was to get the team back on track and winning.

I feel sorry for the bandwaggon types, because it is a total different type of jubilation, when your team you have supported through thick and thin begins to perform well. instead of just supporting them when it suits you.

All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

People can jump on when ever they like, I really don't give a sh*t. The more nix fans the better. However like Scoop said I dont think a fair weathered fan would have enjoyed Friday as much as those of us who watched them play Perth and Adelaide this year

Completely agree Bopman. Don't really give a rats about how or when people choose to show their support or put the boot in either.

Critcism of the team or management doesn't make you a bandwagoner in my opinion either. I get that some of the Doomsayers may well be eating their words right about now, but the reason for a lot of those reactions were that genuine fans were genuinely disappointed with some pretty dire performances.

Some reacted a bit more strongly than others, but I don't think that anyone can deny the fact that it was a direct result of some pretty poos decisions and performances both on and off the field.

Considering our attendances this year, I sincerely hope to see more bandwagoners jump on board. Elitism is one thing, financial security for the club is another.

I believe the correct term is bandwagoneer - not bandwagoner.

Carry on.

Went through with the Warriors this year. I sat there week in, week out in the pissing rain with 7 or 8 thousand others, then all of a sudden another 20K suddenly waltz through the turnstiles for the play-offs. Human nature, sadly.

Just wish some more of our bandwagoneers (see what I did there, Smithy) would put their money where their mouths are, and get their arses down to the ROF.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Only home game I've ever missed was when I was ball-boy (Doesn't really count as a miss does it?) <- That was in the game that Christie I think it was rugby tackled someone on the 90th minute and gave away a penalty.

I haven't missed a league game yet in 2 years (touchwood), I dont care if glory hunters/bandwagoners jump on board, I'm just still buzzing that we in Wellington actually have a professional football team.

I saviour each moment even when we get dicked. Sure it's disappointing when we lose or don't live up to our very obvious potential but we exist and that is most important!
