I think he is possibly being hard done by, although if you look at all the players we have in the MF only Brown and Lia couldn't complain about how they are treated. This happens in every football club, what about poor Mulligan then?!?!?!
Also, I mean, you live in an English-speaking country. Stop hanging out with Daniel and Diego, let Troy take you out and show you the good times and find your own language school.
I did all that when I was 20 years old, not speaking a word of english and with $1000 in my pocket to last me 12 months, sure he can do that!

It's pretty poor if the team is signing people and then not honouring commitments made.
Obviously, feel free to believe me, or not*, but i find the lack of support a pretty annoying to be honest.
I think the situation pretty adequately sums up our poor recruitng was over the break, and the World Cup situation I suppose didn't help.

if I took what you've posted as gospel then I'd beliving something a friend of a friend of a fellow nix supporter told me.

Question for me is this affair symptomatic of our poor recruiting generally, or was the World Cup a real factor in our final rush to name a minimum squad and some poor decisions resulted?

The bugger is not playing, so get him down to the 4kings pre & post match to learn the lingo with the supporters.
I'm sure a few rounds has got to be cheaper than those english language colleges.
Have him in the Fever Zone to learn the chants. He'll know everything he needs to know in no time.

The general tone of this thread has ranged between sceptical and dismissive. Given that the OP clearly identified the poor quality of their source from the outset, the story can only be regarded as plausible or implausible - and either is a reasonable position.
Given the club's financial issues, it's not unreasonable to think that off-contract bonsues are being dropped - especially for players who have failed to impress.
