. I don't
think Wellington has any thing like this. The Hurricanes took Rugby
League Park. May be they will have to take over the old show
buildings and turn the top car parks into fields. Who need ashpalt
there now a days? Blew2007-05-17 22:46:48
If they only have a groud then they will probably align with a gym (most likely Les Mills or Exodus) to keep set-up costs down. That way only grass, a changing room and meeting/tactics room will be needed. This opens it up to most grounds in Wellington. The only issue is most grounds have teams playing on them so a full time team training will damage the surface too much with the combination of games and training. They'll need a dedicated surface. I'm lost for ideas outside of a new location as non-playing surfaces are normally woeful. The time it takes to lay a new surface is too long for them to get on it this season. I can see them using Ole as a short-term option with a new location next season.
Its no longer a problem.
Emblen, Salley, Gao and Marcina were all good.
