for anyone considering breaking any boycott they might have imposed on tv1 (clearly a matter for deep soul searching and personal conscience ) a journo did an interview with ricki and Ross after training - she said it would probably be on later in the week (i.e. closer to the game)

at the end of the piece you might hear vince Lia calling out to Ross as a wind -up

perhaps tvnz has finally figured that giving the phoenix decent coverage is worth while, that'll give the smallest man in the world (Veitch) something to talk about!

knowing tv1, it'll be a chance for them to talk about the Phoenix coming last in the league. b*stards

With you on that why do i get the feeling their motives are purely cynical.

even if it starts out positive when it leaves the journo's desk, there always seems to be a distinct possibility that Vietch will put a negative spin on it given half a chance (a number of us have noticed that at least one of Vietch's intros had quiet a different angle from the piece itself)

Give the por guy a break, he's still sulking that Beckham wouldn't talk to him. The galaxy PR guy probably saw him on telly and thought no way I'm letting our most expensive player talk to such a plonker.
