Paul Henry - why are we bothering people.
This is the guy who hosted THE most dishonest This Is Your
Life imaginable. His Jonah programme was as dishonest as it can
possibly.
This is your life and NO mention of Phil Kingsley Jones.
Without Phil Kingsley Jones, Jonah would have been just another big
brown fella on the wing, a Manu Vatuvei - terrific player but just
another big talented Islander - and they are a dime a dozen.
Kingsley Jones created Jonah the face of rugby. He used his
years of experience in the entertainment industry, his contacts etc
to create the phenomenon that was Jonah. He created NZs first
multi-million dollar sporting icon. Something that could be sold to
multi-national corporate giants like adidas and McDonald's.
Sure he made some good coin on the coat tails, but Jonah was set up
for life - thanks to PKJ.
So Henry does this show supposedly about Jonah's life, and
there is not one mention about Kingsley Jones. Not one. Not a
sentence in passing.
So as far as credibility, honesty, integrity - the man has not
an iota.
So why bother.
For any measure of a man, he comes up so far short he is not
worth mentioning.
So don't. He is nothing.
