Yeah we saw it before recording but didn't talk about it. Spent too much time gushing over Roly's goal to fit much more in!

The latest episode of #PhoenixCity is out now at http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts!

What a week. The Nix smashed Adelaide off the park in front of the biggest croud since the 2009 playoffs, and the All Whites finally won a game too! Elsewhere, it was the first proper round of the ASB Prem, and we have a comprehensive wrap of all four matches played and a preview of round two.

The pod works as a three hander - you keep the conversation moving at a nice clip. It's getting a lot better guys.

Nice work.

Yea the pod has come a long way.  It flows a lot better (though I imagine thats just experience).

Actually laughed out loud (uncommon for me) at two points.  I thought Patrick was snobbing brandons PI joke by brushing past it without even a pretend "on air" laugh (which I hate), but then when the joke clicked it was even funnier.

The post outro outakes were fantastic this weekend, brandon's final one got me some weird looks in the supermarket with a little laugh outburst.

Anyway still loving the pods chaps.  One thought (unless I missed it) would be to mention the ASB games date and times.  Just to get it in more peoples minds.

The latest episode of ‪#‎PhoenixCity‬ is out at yellowfever.co.nz/podcastsWellington Phoenix FC went down 2-1 to WSW, and the rest of the A-League was pretty forgettable too (apart from Jamie Young).

Meanwhile, the WeeNix and the TeeDubs both lost, as we wrap up Round Two of the ASB Premiership.

Is it not working for anyone else? Says it's playing but either bad static or silence.

Good Pod, but unless I missed something wasn't Brandon teasing some inside information on Phoenix injuries that wasn't talked about?

Great pod.

When you were talking about the leaked info and how the FFA could have saved so much face with the fans.  I reckon they leaked the information which is why they couldn't go into bat for the fans, because if the source "leaked" then it would have looked even worse for them.  Total speculation though.

It will be interesting to see if WSW fans actually boycot the game, my money is on they wont.

I thoguht it came out that one of the stadiums leaked the ban list?

it's assumed the SCG did because of the people on their board.

The latest episode of Phoenix City is out now on iTunes and at http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts!

The Phoenix lost 29-14 to Sydney FC on the weekend, the pod talks fouls and Joel Griffiths vs Steve Corica. Elsewhere the FFA still have their head in the sand, the Football Ferns beat Brazil 1-0 and the ASB Prem rolls on for another week.

In common with the previous 5, this one doesn't show up as an unplayed episode on the Apple TV podcast app, and isn't dated - there's just the title and duration showing. So, you have to click through to 'Show Podcast Feed' to find it, and the only way to tell that it's a new episode is if you know what the title is. They were all fine through to and including "Did that really happen?" on 21 October, but something has then changed so that "Vinniesta" on are all undated, and 'pre-played'.

Nothing has changed at our end, it must be something that Apple has done unfortunately

It's the only podcast out of 15 I subscribe to that it's happening to, so Apple must be in league with the FFA or something...

Hmm in that case I will look into it. No guarantees that I will be able to fix it though!

I'll ask the two obvious ones.

Can we get rid of the yellow seats or at the very least get different shades of yellow so that you get a dithered effect?

What is his thoughts on the changing needs of the Wellington region? In the 16 years that the stadium was built crowds have declined and the amount of games that require a rectangular surface have increased. Do they have any plans to make the venue more attractive to smaller than originally anticipated crowds and on a different shaped field?

Would you rather have to provide seats and food and beverage for 100 ducks sized alpaccas, or 1 alpacca sized duck?

I guess following on from this if he had free reign what would his plans for wellington regions outdoor professional sports venues be, i.e. would he be happy if a meteor hit wespac rebuild rectangle and improve the basin or would he like something along the lines of the proposed petone boutique stadium as well as the current set up??
