If he lost the Phoenix as tenants (i.e: the FFA kicked us out or we moved), what would be the implication for the stadium and where could he find other revenue streams?
If he had had to cover the pitch with loads of sand, would he spray paint it green?

The latest episode of Phoenix City is out now, on iTunes and at http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts!
It was a successful weekend in Auckland for the Phoenix, and Shane Harmon (CEO of Westpac Stadium) joins the pod to talk about it, as well as stadiums, clashing kits and green sand.
The WeeNix got their first win of the season in the ASB Prem, and Auckland City are off in Japan about to begin their Club World Cup quest.

That sand could be sold off to fans. Raise money for the FFS
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
I don't know who said it on the pod about Albany not being that far away, and appreciate he had lived in Auckland before, however the issue isn't distance it's access, spaghetti junction and the bridge are a nightmare at almost anytime of the day. Public transport is an good option, but Aucklanders love their cars and that's not going to change anytime soon.
here we come we're coming fast
all the others are in the past
jump to your feet let us get you high with the green sand
we're not too fast we're not too slow
come along baby to see where we go
jump to your feet let us catch your eye with the green sand
we're comin' fast and I tell you why
jump to your feet let us catch your eye
here we come baby and you can't run in the green sand

great pod chaps. Brandon's Nix love at the start was pure quality.
Really enjoyed the pod this week, nice work all.
Small suggestion: don't report on Tommy Smith unless he is re-selected for the All Whites?
Tommy who?
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
Tommy who?
Not Smith with a Y: Smith with an F - Tommy Fudging Smith.

Very good discussion with the Irishman. Some good straight answers. Well done all.

It was hot in Cairns and that probably cost the Phoenix three points. The WeeNix were involved in quite possibly the most amazing ASB Prem game ever, and Cam has his wrap of Kiwi's Overseas.

Oh WOW. The editing on the discussion of the previous Wellington derbies! Just WOW. Well done Patrick! ;)
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.
The outtakes this week are golden too.

It's a Merry podcast this week, but the Nix haven't quite got in the spirit yet after their 1-1 draw with Sydney FC.
Elsewhere, the Wellington Derby ended with the TeeDubs on top, and Cam's list of Kiwi's Overseas is shrinking.

There's no ASB Orem to wrap up this week, so we want your questions for us to answer on this week's pod. Send them in now.

Will the Phoenix be in the A League next year?
Will Wairarapa United ever be in the ASB Premiership?
Could a pro football comp start up here in nu zulund?
Is 4 a prime number?
Could the ASB premiership ever be pro?
When do you think the all whites will make another WC?
Why are the football ferns more awesome than the all whites?
What's the square root of 7.3?
If the Nix lose their license will they continue as an ASBP franchise?
People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.
Who do you think the Nix could benefit from signing in the Jan transfer window?
Do OGs count as -1 in the golden boot tally?
Is there ever an occasion that the Nix could benefit from a streaker invasion?

So Patrick royally kazoo-ed up this week, and recorded the pod through his laptop mic instead of the actual mic.
So as we talk about the Phoenix's loss to Adelaide, the own goals/red cards/penalties of the previous round of A-League fixtures and the upcoming weekend of games, we sound like we are recording in a toilet somewhere.
Enjoy.

Did you add any flushing hounds for special effects?
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
Were you watching football in the background?
I found it sometimes listenable, whereas without that backgournd noise it would have been shark quality but very listenable.
We were at four kings and there was NFL on. Would have been okay with the usual microphones because I'm able to filter it out but because it was the laptop mic I couldn't.

Ah that makes sense then. I was thinking you were doing it at home or something and was going to suggest turning off the telly when recording.
But for one in a pub using the laptop mic it was surprisingly listenable.
It sounded like being in a pub catching bits of conversations and pretending you heard the other bits!

I think that the current team needs to wake the fudge up and realize we are on notice hence #Save the Nix..cause if they don't get themselves out of this slump then it will be save the crowds.cause no one will turn up
