See, I have no problem with "The Die Hard Series" as an option here. Nobody disputes that the first film is great and 2-4 are adequate sequels. Die Hard 5 is where we take issue...

There is no die hard 5. Never happened.

Die Hard 1 and 3 are the really good films. The rest? Mediocre at best.

See, here's a thing.

I actually requested this from Boxey (no jokes, and on your behalf) and he said:

I was legit thinking about your request Trace and trying to deliver

I have to agree that 1 and 3 were excellent films.  And I really enjoyed 4, even with the massive plot holes.  2 was the weak link IMHO

Die Hard 2 is worth watching for the explosive ending though. It also has some good one liners.

If you're gonna watch a movie for the explosions, 5's are infinitely better

They really aren't. The only good part of the film was watching at the Embassy in Dolby ATMOS, so it really did sound like a glass roof had shattered above you during the scene where the glass roof shattered.

That is literally the only half-memorable moment in DH5. You can't tell me you remember any more details from the movie!

There is no 5.

I specifically meant the explosion at the end, it's a great ending.

Enjoyed this week's pod, thanks!

Nice chat about Daniel Mullen.

Have you talked about Dario Vidisic yet though?

I'm not sure where we would play him on the pitch; would be interesting to hear what the pod thinks.

Sorry Bevan, only saw this just as we were finishing up recording. Will cover this next week!

Good pod. Short and sweet. Would love some interviews or guests during the off season to make it meaty and get some quality chat time that might be lacking during the season due to time constraints/so much to talk about.
Really appreciate all the effort you lads put into this

Yeah I realised that straight after we recorded when I bothered to check it. Apologies to the Havelock mafia!

I read it on the Fever forums.... shouldn't have trusted the Fever forums.

Good pod lads But I disagree on the Myer beaven call. I don't think he's innocent at all. He clearly kicks the guy as he's running by him. Just a brain snap

Cam has since been convinced by the rest of us (after we actually watched the footage) that it is definitely a red card.

His exact words were "the more I watch it, the worse it gets".

I trusted something I read on the forums and lost.

But hey, at least I had enough credibility to not just edit it out.

I had the opposite feeling, and it was Cam's vehement protest on the pod that made me start looking again. Where's the motive?

Patrick you have had some howlers before but where did you get your info on havelock north? 4th or 5th? They won the league only losing one game!

What does motive matter? He kicked a dude well off the ball. Clear cut red.

Because without one there's no reason why he'd just randomly kick a dude. Would make sense if they'd just tangled or something (I haven't watched all 83 minutes). The opponent guy is fudgeing around almost trying to set a screen on him, and Bevan tries to skip past him and the opponent guy leaves his foot is there.

Its a pretty obvious kick out, not sure what you're watching.

The opponent delays his movement to set a screen, and leaves his foot in front.

Just an FYI - no record this week as life commitments are making it hard to have more than one of us available at the same time and no one wants to listen to me rant alone for an hour.
