is it like big good news, or big bad news!

Also, just called someone from the club's office, he emailed me pictures of the player..
Hope anyone can confirm it...

That's him.

No one will be able to confirm because (as said above) it's early in the morning and people are either asleep or watching the World Cup, or at the World Cup.

Also, it's the first we've heaqrd of it.

I guess this means Siggy will get his starting spot back .  Still sad if it is indeed true.

Shame, but good for the club in terms of transfer earnings. Best of luck Jon if it is true.

McKain's Wikipedia page has already been updated (?) with reference to this thread. So either this is legit, or someone is going to a huge effort to troll both Nix and Al-Nassr supporters. I will wait to see a formal confirmation from one or both club officials.

He did, but more money in the Middle East. Transfer fee would be involved if this news is legit.

He is OUR McKain, hands off!!!

I would much rather McKain starting for us than Siggy, no matter how much I love Siggy

Hmmm. History on McKain's Wikipedia article says that the news about transfer to Al-Nassr was put up yesterday, then almost immediately changed to read Al-Raed (another Saudi premiership club), then added some link to an Islamic charity (?!?) then reverted. I am increasingly suspecting shenanigans between rival Saudi clubs.

Curioser and curioser: the only other edits made by the user who put this news up were to delete some trash talk put on the Al-Nasser page. And - the user who "confirmed" the signing has been told off in the past for putting on badly sourced information about Al-Nassr signings.

Still the only actual source on this is a thread on the Al-Nassr forum. Does McKain like booze and chasing wimmins? Then a move to Saudi might not be a wise one. Doloras2010-06-15 10:33:20

Oh man i'd LOVE to see your face when this go official ...which is soon

anyway, give us feedback on the player skills & statics if any..

My Saudi friend, if this is official I won't be embarrassed for being sceptical and examining the evidence; but even if it is official, I think that both Al-Nassr and Al-Raed fans should be embarrased for - as we put it in New Zealand - "playing silly buggers" on Wikipedia. The boast in your sig, too, does not inspire us with confidence that your information is in good faith.

Whether Jon is transferring or not, though, welcome to our forum, and I hope you're properly grateful that we knocked Bahrain out of the World Cup for you. Doloras2010-06-15 10:40:46

You don't want him.

He only has one leg, runs at 0.0027 km/hr and is thicker than George Bush.  He gives away 27 penalties each game and gets a red card each match.

Quickly tell your club to cancel the transfer and save money while it's still possible.

If you'll look on the translated thread from the Al-Nassr board, you'll see that whoever posted it can't tell NZ from Aus...

lol..oh man u need to do more " examination" before jumping to conclusions..i blame google for that

the AU part refers to the player nationality, not the team

Hi there AlNassr ... if you

"just called someone from the club's office, he emailed me pictures of the player..
Hope anyone can confirm it..."

can I briefly inquire as to why the 'someone"  at the club's office didn't confirm it to you then, along with stats etc, when he also sent you the photos?

Kind regards and welcome to our forum.

And btw, both those photos seem to have been directly uploaded from the internet, by yourself? One is  wiki photo and the other from a website. Please do correct me if I am wrong.

my dear homer, Saudi Arabia have a terrible history with World Cups & particularly with Germany.. in 2002 we were beating 8 nil :( .. i think it's something to do with Asia Vs Germany in general !!!

So NZ has nothing to do with what i meant

Yes, someone from the club sent me those photos, unfortunately he's not in the position to confirm or deny anything..kinda under dog employee..

photo source don't matter, cuzi posted it like i received it..

i only statred this thread to ask about this deal & the player stat.. not to confirm/deny or cus any hassle whatsoever
