Or not.The full sentence was:"The Carrbibean Cup is a qualifier for the Concacaf Gold Cup, which

Barbados have never been in it," Ifill said.
So I'd say that means The Carribean Cup which Barbados is going to be playing in doesn't involve Mexico or the USA... they will (usually) be in the Concacaf Gold Cup, which Barbados might qualify for if they do well in the Carribean Cup.
Indeed. Group B of the Carribean Cup it would seem. Read all about it here.

Mexico & USA a wee way away!

EDIT: Anyway, enough of this distraction, as doesn't affect Ifill's availability for us (only injury can do that).

0-0 yawn fest.

How optimistic.

We will lose again. After bossing them for most of the qame they will slip in a late equaliser and then WELL into stoppage time (like much much after the minimum time) they will win a free kick just outside the penalty area and some unmarked Ghoster will head home the winner.

Daniel will start but will probably miss a simple walk-in/tap-in goal.

Gawd I'm depressed already.

Breaking news, Ricki to try Toto in goal and Paston to start up front, the 2 center backs are going to be Daniel and Greenie

Vuks
Sig, Dura, North, Muscat
Diego, Ward, Brown
Bertos, Greenacre, Ifill

Bench:
Past
Daniel
Hearfield
Pav

I'm not sure whether Diego should be thrown into starting but I do remember him doing a very sound job playing as a more defensive mid when Lia was suspended, and Muscat hadn't been discovered in midfield. Against Newcastle last year in a 1-0 away win.

You're assuming he gets the ball in that position.

I'd rate Bertos to have more chance to trip over the ball and land on his face, than Daniel.

Sorry, but I've got to ask. Tricia, did you happen to get picked up at a party in Islington by a guy with two heads?

He only had one head at the time I think. Perhaps his other head was covered by a birdcage.

Who is going to do that = Manny.

Did I hear today somewhere that Ifill has been called up for international duty ?

Yeah, it's on page 2 on this thread. He's playing for Barbados in qualfiers for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Seems to be during the FIFA window though, hopefully no Nix games missed.
