how come you've suddenly learnt how to use English and construct sentences?
I am getting worried about you now too. Next you will be flying planes

unfortunately i could not be bothered reading my physics text books at school so flying planes is out of the question. However, i hear that the "terrorists'" flying skills were not that great. In fact, too poor to pull off some of the turns they did blah blah.... - ok im not opening this argument up as i will be targeted.

leave the stand for the fringe footballing public. We can stand in the rain (that can include you and the CIA agents who are keeping an eye on you)

I too am a former Yankee although would rather wear a Greek flag on my sleeve.

As for the game at the 'basin' / Newtown Park now (thanks to Olympic) its going to be a big problem if 1000 people show up and its raining isnt it. And parkings a bitch.

What's the capacity of Newtown Park?

Pre-season games wouldn't conventionally attract a large crowd, but with this being the first official home game I bet we get a decent turnout. It could be a real squeeze - the last time I was out at Newtown Park, half of the stand-side of the ground was closed off for building work.

Does that take in to account the current development work? Or has that been taken to near-completion since I was last there a couple of months back? I should stop-off on my way to play at Wakefield tomorrow and then report back.

mate i reckon 4000 people, 1000 of them will be YF and that comment was a hit at the docters accused of trying to blow up glasgow as we are told........although most of the terrorism we hear of is bulllsh*t propaganda

alsofor those of you who brought a season pass i would argue that you should be allowed in free too as you are members of the phoenix but it should be a 5 bucker not 10WPFC_OR_DEATH2007-07-14 01:57:27

That's good - we were prob just going to throw things at you rather than pick you up anyways. By the way - leave that Sydney top I saw at the gym in at home.

What? I wont be on the bus even if it was free. I'm bringing the family so we will be in Eva Dixons before the game.

Realistic options:

The Stadium
Basin - Stuffed by Oval ball codes
Newtown
Hutt Rec - Stuffed by Oval ball codes ?
Porirua Park - Stuffed by Oval ball codes
Petone Rec ?
Memorial ?

Palmerston North, Park Island ?  I did hear Sydney's travel plans had changed, is that a sign ?

Some (like Memorial) would need some temporary stands erected to be viable I would have thought.

I do wonder if are contemplating the Stadium, although that has an Air New Zealand Cup Pre-Season game on Friday night.

Did I complain about the walk? If I'm wearing a nice thick alcohol blanket I'll walk anywhere :-) I try to avoid wearing it while Im actually at work hence the complaint about the walk to Champs. Will be doing the walk today (if it's not to cold outside my nicely air conditioned building) to get my Retro Ricky T for Sunday (I hope they have XXL).
Bring on the game.

Its no longer a problem.

There are rumours and under-currents.  Nothing confirmed yet.

As soon as it's out there it will be on here.

If the games still at newton and it's a nice day we should take over the working mans bowling club for a couple of hours, cheap jugs $5 I think, role a few ends and only a 5 minute work to the ground.
