Not necessarily  so ,there will be  AFC Champions league places up for grabs, that should be incentive enough for the players !

You could argue though that theyre just as likely to adopt a rotation policy to refresh the bench and keep starting players from injury (especially the likes of Carle whos prone to injury) ... but youre right as both scenarios are plausible.

True hope you are right ,suppose it depends on how much is at stake money wise etc in the AFC Champions League and how the club intends to approach the tournament .
Here's hoping they play a second string team lacking any incentive to play.

Perth lost 1-2. Two penalties to Smeltz

I see there are a few pretenders to my throne. Does this mean I have to retire AGAIN?  I got most results right for two years, and over half the scorelines. I predicted England winning the Ashes, and that was after the Perth test (they will also win the Six Nations- you read it hear first folks!) Not bad really.
Someone said "anybody can predict results...". Tui moment- that's why everyone in the UK that enters football pools every week all win?

There can be only one.

Remember- I am quite often nearly spot on occasionally,

and (most importantly)

We are the Mighty Phoenix. We can beat anyone

If you're referring to me, I actually said anyone can get the result right.  meaning there are only 3 choices, win, lose or draw.  Scoreline is completely different because there are any number of possibilities, much harder to get correct.

So... the squad...

                   Vuko

Hearfield    North     Musa   Lochhead

Rojas      Ward      Brown      Daniel

           Greenie    Big Mac

Bench: Pav, Toto, The Crow, (???)

I would have said Diego, but if he's out, then buggered if I know. Short term midfield cover i would suggest, unless you signed a defensive cover, and used Musa as midfield cover? Interesting position to be in for one game.

Any word on who will make up the bench? Or will the Crow not be a RGK, and Gould be on the keepers bench

Short term signing.  There are only 13 (or 14 - Pav injury statius might be blurry)  players currently available.

There will be some sort of signing (aleegedly).

I'm guessing there's no real indication who that might be either?

Be easiest to pick up someone from over there in Sydney wouldn't ya think?

We're back flush again for the NQF game aren't we?

they always wanted fowler, could be him.

Whoever it is, he must be reasonably well known to be worth shown to the public. Otherwise the crowds gonna be shrugging their shoulders rather than cheering

i like this though.
I also like how when ifill we got the token ifill holding the jersey picture. think we should do it when we can.
