Possibly good news!

Ifill trained Ok yesterday.....he will see how well he pulls up today to see if he can play some part in Saturdays game(maybe off the bench)

Also Pav should be available for the following week against sydney.

Sanchez is not looking flash for Saturday

No word yet on Siggy or Daniel

I would prefer to leave Ifill another week and let him have a full week unrestricted training under his belt before putting him back in the match. Its the injury risk again we not need (especially right now)

Its odd in that we may have to use players who are not quite 100% because we have no players and the risk is that using them may make them injured again putting us right back where we are.

You are right about Ifill......he is the one player who could single handedly sort out this season for us. Despite our crap start we are not too far off the pace. A few back to back wins and we would be right up the table. Getting a fit Ifill back to his season one form, is vital for us. That and getting Sanchez back on deck.

Yes last thing we need is for Ifill to come back early and aggravate the injury causing him to be out for even longer. Those groin injuries can take some time to heal properly at the best of times.

With the Game In Auckland

How many Aucklanders have been contracted to or made an A League appearance for the Phoenix????

Answers please Gentlemen

Zero. As soon as they pull on the black and yellow, they are Wellingtonians

AFAIK - Sean Lovemore, Cameron Lindsay, and Jacob Spoonley. You can probably count Shane Smeltz as well - his first junior club was Oratia Smurfs.

You'd need to define Aucklander.  Does a fortnight there make you an Aucklander or born there or what?

In that case, he's an Aussie

News - Lochhead also went to MAGS (IIRC), but I maintain that he's from the Bay.

From wekia Plodder and Mully both played their first senior games at Barnsley

Although Plodder did play for Waitakere before he played for the Nix

Only change is that Friends of Phoenix has been extended across two more sections of the East Stand.

Cameras will face the Fever side, but apart from them most people will most sit on the main stand or east stand.chris.acfc2011-11-17 14:08:41

Yes.

It was in reference to Homer winking down the phone to Mr Burns even though he cannot see him. I imagine this was the case when you gave the fingers down the phone.

Wasn't a dig by the way, i would have done a similar thing. Fever Zone >>>>>> Corporate bollocks any day.

Three for me, and two for them.

Just got PAX at 14564. Seems to be trending up at a reasonable rate so must have some relevance to tickets sold.

Its no longer a problem.
