People need to get facts right.

It wasn't free tickets last night.

Lia isn't suspended next week

Any chance we can apply to have him suspended?

What happened to the way we played against Adelaide? What happened to the excellent passing game and player movement?

Ward got injured, and the balance at the front returned to being crap.

As for Greenacre missing the header....

I have to agree with something the commentators said though, the team need to be practising dead ball situations at training (if they are practising at all).

They suck at marking in dead ball situations at the moment. They suck at getting the ball in from dead ball situations.

Daniel did a number of far-post drop goals and Bertos did a 'Simon Elliott' not getting the ball passed the first defender on a free kick.

Is Rojas the only one in the team at the moment that can get corners in at a decent height in good positions for players?

Does anyone else think it's stupid we have 3 players in the box for OUR attacking corners, nobody making runs in, and 3 players standing outside the box (Ifill) waiting for something to happen?

And the brain explosion tackles last night, perhaps someone forgot to mention it was a football game not a league match.

Neither Daniel or Bertos appear to be any good at taking free-kicks, corners or anything like a dead ball situation...interesting how Ricki keeps perservering with this

what a disappointment. Just watched the replay and I thought we played an OK game. Definitely didn't deserve to lose 2-0. We dominated 2/3 of the first half and 1/2 of the second half. Shame we couldn't find the back of the net.

Really hope Joel will get his arse here quick cause we could hurt any team in the league with a decent striker + Ifill.

damm.. Lia ISN'T suspended? And Durante is. *sigh,*
I know Durante hasn't been playing well lately, but I don't know if we can win without him.

Can't be bothered with all this angst any more.  For the last couple of months I've stopped watching away games becasue a) I get fed up with watching clueless sh*t from players who should be way better and b) when you come on here and point out what's wrong week in week out you get your head chewed off by moronic optimists who accuse you of being disloyal and not knowing what you're talking about.  I went to bed at 11.00pm last night and am really enjoying my Sunday.  How about you?

This was just one of those messy games, weather conditions didn't help at all. Moving on now.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

That is true, but I wasn't saying it was down to the weather conditions, the weather didn't help us in any way, it made things worse than they already were.

I go to games as part of a group of 9 season ticket holders.

For most of this season it has been a battle to get more than 4 or 5 to games, and remember these are season ticket holders, because of a combination of sh*t house weather and sh*t house performances.

I think there are plenty who are struggling with the 2010/11 Nix.

Yes when the team is struggling is the time they need the support the most but sometimes people just need a break from what has become, at times, a grind.

We need all the supporters we can get - even if they don't fit everyones ideals for what a supporter is.

Exactly.  You don't know me or what I choose to do with my spare time.  There's more to "loyal support" than blind faith.  I still go to home games and will continue to do so.  I pay my money so I'm entitled to call it as I see it.  If you don't like it, tough.  I didn't watch last night but I can tell you the defeat had nothing to do with the weather, the crowd, Ifill's form, Ward's and Paston's injury, Herbert's ban or any other lame excuse that people keep using to justify our dreadful away form and barely adequate home performances.  Keep sticking your head in the sand if you want to but the truth is we aren't good enough.

And Chopper, 40 years a Chelsea fan including 10 when I barely missed a game, home or away.  When did you jump on the glory train then?

The GCU pitch is an insult to football and the weather was rubbish and Riki wasn't on the sideline.
Crap excuses for a crap performance.
Daniel and Leo both demonstrated their inability to cross once again, Daniel shouldn't start.
Bringing Leo on was the wrong sub, should have brought on Dmac and kept Greenie on. All of our best play in recent times has come from a 4-4-2 after we made attacking subs to have two up front and Rojas and Ifil winging it.
This is how we should start each game.
Poor poor Paston. That could be career ending and Vuko will be in Perth next season.
That feels better, all vented.
Oh thats right, and no Dura next week aaaaaah!

The on field performance looked like a team playing at 1 am NZ time KO. How are we to compete with playing at this time.   Posted from Brisbane Airport. Only good things, poor GC crowd and Bus driver doing over time to drop kiwi's off in Surfers dispite on scheduled to drop all at Pacific Fair for transfers.Hogster2010-12-12 16:58:08

But...but...but....Ok, my mojo is waining with the team's performance. Rest assured though, as we get better on the pitch the mojo will return. I've got 4 results wrong in two years, by the way- not too bad really I reckon.

We are the Phoenix, we can beat anyone!

I'm ashamed to say I wasn't able to watch the match, though by the sounds of it I wasn't really missing much.
I know we lost 2-0, played like sh*t, Pasty's out for potentially the rest of the season, and Dura's suspended for next game. Anything I've left out?

There is always something wrong. That's what you and others have to realize. We aren't going to win every game.

So if we're actually turning things around then it's good. People like you are just doom and gloom all the time - even after a win at times.

So of course one must look at the positives as well as the negatives (and most of what you call optimists do look at both) but you and others almost wait for us to lose just so you can come on here and moan, and we never hear from ya after a win.
