So, back to the drawing board again for the team having the week to recover until the next game since we don't have a midweek will be very very useful. So the question is do we keep the same starting 11 or do we bring Marco into the starting 11 or drop Daniel for Bertos. Anyone going to the game me and 5 mates are?

I reckon the game is a must win.CboZ2010-12-06 20:52:44

Bertos in, Rojas off the bench in th 55th min like today. He's the impact player on the bench, three games out of the past four, we have lifted and scored when he has come on.

Def a must win, otherwise the chance of a home semi again slips away. Heck, the chance of making the semis slips away.patrick4782010-12-05 22:56:52

I'm a big fan of Daniel, but I really think that if Bertos is fit, he comes in in front of Daniel, with Rojas getting around a full half this time.

Oh no, the intimiditating atmosphere that is Skilled Park...

I hear they're looking to top the 2k figure this week. 1500 last time.

Its no longer a problem.

Culina is in top form at the moment.
If our boys can shut him down like they did flores last night we should be okay.

We just need to sort out one major thing.. Finishing.

Rojas has done enough to deserve a start IMO. Daniel gives us next to nothing going forward at the moment (or defensively for that matter) and his crossing from a deadball situation is worse than woeful and to be fair, Leo has not been a lot better in recent outings.

Give the kid a start I say and take him off after an hour in need

Daniel was better than Leo has been, to be honest. He at least put in a few good crosses.

Is that really a good recommendation?

Culina is the key - stop him and you can shut GCU down. We didn't turn up to the last game at Skilled Park and let Culina run the show. Cue Manny.

Same starting 11 other than a straight swap Leo (assuming he's fit) for Daniel. I'd also think hard about the bench - I don't think Mac adds much at all and we are playing a bit of Russian roulette not having any defensive cover on the bench. I'd swap Musa for Mac.

We're on the rise and GCU are a good team playing well - could be a hell of a game.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Same team, if Leo is fit put him on the bench for D-Mac.

I think it's a must not lose

so this, we have 7 points from the last four games, 2 wins, a draw and a loss. Not losing is key!

I'd bring Bertos in for Daniel and keep Rojas in the squad to play second half.  Also, he was only on for a few minutes but I thought that MacAllister was good.  Maybe he's finally coming round, I don't know.

Must get at less a point from this game.

Only change i would make is bringing Bertos onto the bench. Keep Daniel in the starting side.

Hopefully with Leo not playing this weekend, he's had some time to think and will bring a better game.. though I think Leo has been playing better than Daniel, Daniel has been a bit useless.

Big game for us. After the epic last-gasp win yesterday, we have to string another performance together. It's not like the crowd will overwhelm us...

hmmm for me, i would give bertos another week off. Don't let him travel and tell him to work hard.

Same team, but if one person slips up, then we've got good players breathing down their necks...

GC had the second lowest crowd ever last time out (the Knights hold the record below them)

Will probably be more this weekend as it swells with YF and Nix fans

Totally agree with earlier posts Bertos vs Daniel, at least with Daniel his crosses look likely. Bertos crosses dribble across the ground or if they get off the ground they hit the first defender. I was once a hug Bertos fan but he has always been hot and cold and since the WC he has been cold!!
Rojas to remain on the bench as an impact player.

I think Bertos has had many a chance to regain his form, and didn't. Not that Daniel is heaps better than Bertos in my opinion, but he now has his chance, he's playing OK and we're getting some results, so he should start. It's the law of football, once you lose your spot you need to wait for another player to get injured/banned or to play like rubbish before you slot right back in the side.
