If anyone missed Mossy's interview on Jason Pine's breakfast show today, here it is, go about 43'45" into the file. Good to know he still feels the love for the Nix and watches the games when he can. I just heart Mossy.

FIRE UP GAME DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PHOENIX
Dam right, especially after these from the a-league site -
Thwaite wants Phoenix scalp
Gold Coast United defender Michael Thwaite believes a good showing at home against the Wellington Phoenix on Saturday night will help in building a massive crowd for Sunday week's free admission match at Skilled Park.

Brown back for more
GOLD Coast United livewire James Brown has dined out on the Wellington Phoenix twice already this year, and the young forward will be hoping to do it once more when the two sides face off at Skilled Park on Saturday night.

I actually ended up on the same flight as them, to sydney strangely enough.
musa was there, elliott definitely was not.
ricki and the assistant whose name has escaped me sat in business class with the players in economy.
I can confirm apple juice was the drink of choice amongst the squad.
also, hearfield was behaving rather strangely and spent literally half the flight standing by the toilets up the back of the plane!

Bertos should not be starting - hasn't played for a couple of weeks and has been very average this season. Get Rojas starting for crying out loud!!! When he plays things happen.

Bertos is a sub, and Rojas is more suited to being an impact player at this point in the season.Azevo2010-12-11 21:23:18

The halftime show for the melbourne derby game gave the nix odds of 5.40 to win, whereas GCU are quite a lot shorter at only 1.60
Surely we're not such rank outsiders after beating Adelaide last week even with our shocking away record?
