Not quite as good as The Master, but I can definitely see Stevo's influence at work there, Buffy

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I really don't reckon he will.  My pick is he'll play every game he's available for.

This. So, so this.

Co-sign.

If we play like we have in the last two games this Sunday, I will be swinging my shirt in the lounge, then celebrating the 1st away win of the season.

Yeah i hope he can stay in the side too. Dont want to overload him. Hes been across the other side of the world only last week.

Lia surely has lost his place in the squad? Cant do the same job as ward or manny. Possible Brown? but browny gets himself onto the end of crosses and into the box so effectively

Why would anyone want a rest? If they are tired after this early in the season then we've got the wrong fitness trainer

Royal,  totally agree.  Besides,  they wouldnt have trained on Wednesday they had a game instead, if anything they should be more rested this week as there is no travel for Sundays game.  Looking forward to our first away win on SUnday

I think Siggy's last few games have all been fantastic,
I don't think theres a need to replace him.
Though at some point I'd like Daniel to come on,
and I want to see some more of Toto.

The line-up I'd like to see;

Hearfield North  Dura  Lochy
                   Manny
              Ward   Brown
      Ifill                        Leo
                 Greenie

Bench: Paston, Mac, Daniel, Lia (if fit)

Sigmund out for Hearfield - as I've said a number of times love Siggy's commitment but he is just too slow for a WB and doesn't offer enough going forward. Unfortunately for him it's fresh midfield legs we will need on the bench so no room there for a spare CB.

Will it happen - probably not.

P.S. After their performances last night I can't see our CB pairing being anything other than Dura / North barring injury, suspension or international duty - they were rock solid and both so confident on the ball.

Yeh i think Siggie- slow on attack and getting back- but we had a great offside line all night and they scarcely threatened our goal...

Forgetting of course that in the game against Bahrain it was Sigmunds charge forward that led to the corner which resulted in the goal....

Ok, since Siggy won a corner almost a year ago, he's actually the new Cafu and we are all wrong about his attacking abilities!

This so this. I'm always bloody saying this. Plus it was an awesome run.

[QUOTE=bopman]And when Siggy is at right back you get many more chances to shout "Maraud Siggy, Maraud"

I think in Sigmund and Hearfield we have 2 good options for RB - one offers more going forward the other offers more defensively - except when up against real pace.

The argument that Sigmund offers more going forward because he made a run that lead to a corner ....... is a bit like arguing Paston should be our starting keeper forever because he saved a penalty ....... or Lochhead is an appalling defender because he gave the penalty away. A player's capabilities and character is judged over a bit longer than one event.

A word to the traveling Nix supporters; singing and chanting on Wednesday night was awesome - came across loud and proud and for decent stretches drowned out MV supporters. Looking forward to hearing you tomorrow against what will be a much smaller home crowd - dominate them !

Nah- wasn't arguing that he can do it again- actually no rational argument- just one of the best memories of my life- almost died laughin on the night when I saw who it was making the run- and using the word run in the broadest sense here- at right wing and then we f-in scored!

I think the fact that he's hardly had a game is the reason why he was a ridiculous signing.

Considering he doesn't even make the bench anymore, yes. As the national team coach, you'd think it'd be in Ricki's best interests to develop a young centre mid in a professional environment, considering Vicelich and Elliottt are on thier way out.
