Cool, that's a pretty full strength 1st 11 for the first time this season! Paston should come in for Warner. It seems that if paston and warner are fairly equal it shouldn't take much from warner to be dropped to the bench.
I just want to watch World cup hero Paston play a couple of times before he retires.

Yep! Hopefully Paston gets a few more games to prove his worth. Seems like Smith is actually injured, so Ricki avoids a selection delemma.

Injured or dropped ?
I'd guess not as good Sanchez or Daniel.

If Smith isn't good enough to make the match day 15, and not a better option than Daniel, then it is a criminal waste of an import spot.

How long is he signed for ? If his contract is up before the January transfer window then we don't need to be limited to an Australasian when trying to sign the ever elusive striker.

At the end of the day, we needed a player and he was available, and is A-League quality. If Ricki and co tried making sure that very youth player was a teenage Kiwi, our 5 imports were our best players and we used every possible guest, marquee and injury replacement spot it just makes recruitment more difficult. As an injury replacement we can probably let him go without much difficulty more or less whenever, so not really an issue.

Interesting read this thread. We have the same issues in Brisbane with Fox Sports showing the games live into the Brisbane area when the Roar play. For some bizarre reason it always seems to rain on match day and the live coverage does impact on our crowds. Soft cocks not wanting to go out when it rains here in Brisbane.

However, not showing your away game live just sucks. SkyNZ needs to pull its collective head in IMO.

On another point, Morwell is a cracking away trip. I've been there twice as a Northern Spirit fan in the NSL days and the locals there are fantastic. If any of your mob are going over, you are in for a fantastic trip!

Haven't seen it mentioned yet.

This game is now delayed at 7pm on sky sport 3. The golf must somehow be finishing earlier now?

As much as I like Smith and how he has played - I personally think Chettleburgh could have done almost the same job as Smith has

Coverage has moved to 7pm on Sky Sports 3, rather than the previously mentioned 8:30pm slot.

I'm quite happy with the delayed coverage.

I'm refereeing at a tournament at 5 o'clock so, instead of missing the game,  I'll be done in time to get home and watch it. Result.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I can't believe Sky aren't even bothering broadcasting it live, delayed an hour, two hours and three hours so we can all be accomodated!

I sent a complaining email this morning about the golf tournament in hong kong being shown live instead of earlier delayed coverage of the nix.

Well at least it's nice of TelstraClear to give us a free broadband weekend so that we can watch the Phonenix streaming live free, instead of having to wait for sky to deign to show it at whatever delayed time it ends up.

And much as I'd like to see Paston reclaim his spot, Warner has claimed the "Mr Phoenix Movember" title, beating even the Daniel "Full mo in 90 minutes" Cortez, that has to be worth something. Not a patch on this guy (though unfortunately he's not a footballer): http://www.buzzfeed.com/gavon/this-guy-won-movemberBNUgrrl2011-12-02 23:10:47

Can someone provide a link where it's likely to be screened? All the sites I used to use seem to be closed nowadays.

Grandadi - I think we can do this again. Piney also thinks so on the podcast, TAB less optimistic (might go for a flutter with $4 odds).

Shall we sign an injury replacement?

This is a tricky one. I've watched the Sydney game three times (as well as being there live) and have to say we were impressive (although well lucky not to have a penalty awarded against us).
I think Dani Sanchez is the last link we need to put in place and give St. Greenie a rest.
Not too bothered about the keeper- Pasty would be fine of course, but The Scouse Klingon is getting better, and he looks terrifying- he even scares me, looking at him.

I will hereby go out on a very long and wobbly limb-

THE Prediction is here!

Cheers GD - I haven't asked JnrJnr yet. I think a 1 goal margin win as well.

You should only feel threatened by JnrJnr if you are a spotty at Miramar wharf. Or a passing jellyfish. As an octopus I think you are quite safe.

I am quietly confident as well. We just need to believe in ourselves and play how we did last week, not set up defensively away from home like we usually do (ok I concede this worked in Brisbane). Scoring more than once would be a big help too...

After 54 mins we were.

We were pretty good at GCU & Perf too (not overly defensive).

We've also been good when we've played Adelaide at their other home ground, Lancaster Park.

Don't try and persuade me we've a good away record...

Not bad so far this season, but some WINS would be very welcome.

Hearts have Dugandzic and Hoffman back from international duty and Terra from injury.
TAB has Hearts at $2.10 and the Nix $3.40.
