The 3 pointa were the important thing. Is was not the best game to watch, but I don't care.

wasnt a great match to watch..as per usual the 'other team' came out after half time and proceeded to make us all nervous for the whole second half......stlll.....a great result even if I still have no idea about Ricki's substitutions

Indeed, I just saw some flying past my window.    Althiugh we had some shaky moments in defense - they seemed to be mainly early - and things looked a bit more settled.   They (Daniel and MaCallister) did waste some good opportunities on counter-attack late. TIP-Dadi2010-11-07 23:10:04

As ugly as that win was I think breaking the away hoodoo will have lifted a huge weight from the team's shoulders.

I also think getting a result so quickly after the spanking on Wednesday and the manner of the win (down to character) will hopefully start to rebuild confidences.

I suspect Paston won't have to buy any drinks tonight - he was immense.

Anyone left who thinks Mac should play before Pav ? Or play at all ?

A win on the road and 3 points !!!
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Man, you are a legend. I always agree with your posts, pretty much word for word. Mac was pathetic- he looked like a cart horse running in treacle.....why play him and not even have Pav on the bench? Incredible.

No. Brent & Rostyn (CCM) are brothers. Both played at Blackburn Rovers Academy and reserves, but they are from Perth. Their old man plays for Wanneroo Vets here.
Just back from the match - the worst display of home-town reffing I've seen for a while. And yes Jacob Burns is a complete c*nt.

Top night all round.

The spray he gave after his red should see a "2nd red".

Does anyone else see Perth imploding, i.e. coaching crisis and/or senior player revolt, like Brisbane did last season?

Just an idle thought. Not meaning to take away at all from the nix tonight, they deserved an away win at last

Great win, exactly what we needed. Didn't matter how it came it was just so important to break the away hoodoo and bounce back after the last two games. Well done boys.

Agree with Scooby, we can't really expect a convincing win given our recent form, but a clean sheet and a win away might just be that confidence booster we need to turn things around. Also, I love this from 442:

This. Definitely this.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I called it after 20mins that he'd get a red. He was lucky not to get one after he chopped Leo just after half time.

Griffiths was lucky not to get more than a yellow after his hack on Ifill too. Some shocking tackles by Perth.
