I bet he's picked up some colourful language from his stint up in Akld (was it with Rory's dad? Ironic if so given his chant)

Build a Bonfire, Build a Bonfire

But Griffiths on the top

But Del Piero in the middle

And we`ll burn the f**king lot

Q: You’ve also signed a few youngsters with potential - tell us about Ben Totori, Louis Fenton and Tyler Boyd?

A: Ben will be as quick and as lively as anyone in the league.  He’s a real wildcard.  Louis Fenton is the same - he’s only 19, and this is his first involvement in pro football, but he has rapidly gone from strength to strength. He’s a big chance to start against Sydney FC in the opening game.  Tyler is just 17 - he can play up top, but he’s better playing as a 2nd striker.  Technically, he’s very good, has a decent change of pace, and he’s played a lot in pre-season up front.  These boys aren’t far away.  Two of those will probably play against Sydney FC.

Fenton to start and Totori or Boyd likely to play then

Anyone think it weird that last year Ricki said the ASB Prem was not good enough and now this season we could start our first game with 2 straight out of there?

We've also signed 2 kiwi youngsters that has nothing to do with the finishing school and both are clearly impressive.  Contrary to what we have been told for ages kiwi youngsters are good enough to fill the U21 slots.  Not only that he says that one of them is better than 2 talented youngsters who have play for us and gone on to other professional clubs.

This only reinforces what I have thought for a long time (Herbert isn't up to much) but I will leave it to the rest to draw their own conclusions.

As it stands folks, I will now not be making the trip down to Wellingtopia tomorrow.

I have been let down massively by someone which has resulted in me not having any transport or accommodation sorted for tomorrow night!!! I am now really wishing that I wasn't so trusting of others.

#fuckingfurious!

That's the one.  I couldn't paste the link apologies.

We now have 10 young kiwis attached to the club who weren't considered good enough 12 months ago.  So what has changed?

Herbert's mind, clearly.

And the fact that the finishing school provides a proper opportunity to evaluate these youngsters before making a commitment.

Probably sooner if this wind keeps going.  Although they might overshoot and end up in Chile.
