(Yes, I know it won't happen, just wish it would, other managers have the balls to try risky things..)

But we have already done the wacky formation (changed right after the Heart game) and how has that worked out for us? I did say that those in the forum that wanted it, got it and it would not end well. Now is not the time to go way further west with absurdity.

Yup!  Park da Bus!

Back to basics.....love it. Play Muscat and Smith in DM. Hoof it. Rough them up. Keep it tight. Bang in those crosses

Manny might become world famous for the tackle that breaks Del piero leg!

Idiot

Guys this is satire....FFS why is everyone so serious at the moment. Can't we bring back the smiley face icons. I was making a joke about Muscat coming off a suspensions for foul play and doing something dumb. Not for one moment was I suggesting that Muscat should go and break DP's leg. Does every post have to be deep and analytical and full of angst?
I give up!

Except Manny isn't back.  Now, if you were talking Joel Griffiths being clobbered, that's something we can all support.

If you are serious then you should ban the comment about breaking legs.
But of course these are your rules.

Leg breaking comment was made in jest, yours was not.

My comment was that he was a f--k whit to make that comment and he was. We dont have smilies anymore so how do you know it was in jest?

Ok, his might have been in jest (or may not have been), but yours clearly wasn't.

I took it as a borderline inappropriate joke.

You broke the rules (see rule #7), and he didn't. End of.

See rule 7. Boy you are really bright..  Imagine if someone came on here and said break Brockies leg. How would that go down? I used to think you were bright, how wrong I was.

Actually they are the forum rules and always have been.  Unfortunately for a while they weren't policed very carefully due to commitments within and outside football.  That's changing.

This place has been geting too close to Phoenix Facebook and that is an embarassment for people who's names are associated with this place.  That's changing.

If it makes you feel better leggy, I got called up on rule 7 yesterday also. Quite correctly I might add.

With respect to this News (and again I know I cross the line) there was one post today that was tagged as personal abuse when it was not really, more aggressive.

I'm all for modding (and even getting my ass kicked) but are we perhaps mis-reading some of the posts? Are we are allowed to defend our position with passion which could be misconstrued as aggressive? I guess all text is hard to take in context when it is difficult to convey emotion. In some respects, some of the old features (emoticons) could help.
With respect to the above and the mods, there are times when stupidity needs a slapdown from posters, not just mods.

(not wanting to derail the thread)

If I could move a post I would.  Fucking Nik (insert smiley emoticon here).

Last Word:  For a while I'm coming down hard on anything that pushes close to try and get things back on a civil footing.  People may get caught in the crossfire.  In fact if you read my last word on that subject (in the West Sydney thread) I said pretty much exactly what your opening line above says.

(Yes, I know it won't happen, just wish it would, other managers have the balls to try risky things..)

It could quite clearly be worse. Huysegems was one of our best last weekend and Totori one of our worst.

Also WSW are an in form, well organized team, where as Sydney B... well they kind of are in form by their standards.

You do not muck around/experiment when you're playing the bottom team and are 3 points off play offs.

Saw it that way too. Stein was very good in the first half, wasted in the second, he seemed too much up the pitch. In contrast Totori was too far back for a lot of the time, and starting to make his runs from our half, he is better up the field and with only one man to beat, not 3 or 4 in waiting... Should have been swapped when it was seen to be happening

I think that has been forgotten about. WSW are a form side at the moment. Ok Bling have 2 wins b2b but with Emerton, ADP, Griffiths and Culina, thats no team to really scoff at (as much as we dislike some of them)

Agree on no experimentation. We really need to lock up the 3 and against the team that is next above us.... You really want to maximise your chances (waiting for a 'Totori to start' post from someone...)

I seem to recall that Ricki has got a terrible record against Farina coached teams, like no wins whatsoever.

Maybe one of you keen young stats guys can dig up that info....

....There's a special prize in it for the first one.

Oooooh a prize!
Hmmmm... six losses, three draws and one win.

A special prize for the first person to tell me Rickis only win.
Assuming i've got my stats correct.

While washing the dishes another Ricki victory over Farina coached teams came to me.
So that makes two wins
