Jez....

How bad was that song just before the players came out? Nearly as bad as the the "Hurricanes *clap clap clap* Hurricanes..." one.

I'm just hoping we didnt pay anyone to write that song for us.

IMO should never be played again.

It was really lame in my opinion. I don't mind "Ring of Fire" but I'd rather have no song than a sh*tty song!

what was the song like????

Well I think it would be good if everyone got in behind it and the only way to do that is to continue playing it. However Carnival de Paris does a pretty good job of getting the crowd going.

Sorry Greeney, I'm not a fan either.

As people have said, it would sound 10000 times better if people sung it without the music.

It's alright. Not the greatest song ever but I doubt the people that created it were amazing musicians or anything. I like it for the simple fact that it was created by fans.

Those that can DO. Those that can't, become critics!

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I didn't write it....but I was paid in beer to sing it.....

Get into it you miserable gits.....learn the words and sing along!!!

Greenie, get the words on the screen for this one for the next 3 home games and everyone wake up, pay attention, learn the words, sing along and own it.

Or would you rather sing "Oh Wellington" 15 more times......

Who The f**k Cares? It amy not be the best but at keast people have put in the effort to have it made. And just because I'm peeved people can't repect what we've got I'm going to point out that it is not "We are the Phoenix" but the Fever Anthem.
You know we belong together...

Why does the stadium have to have the speakers up so damn loud?? Could hardly hear the fans attending the game singing just before kick off. Was over in Aisle 13 and the extra loud sound system was pissing a few of us off.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I preferred Carnival De Paris and Kasabian "Club Foot" - the two tunes they used to play.

'We are the Phoenix' is reasonable, but could do with a wee bit of improvement (not sure exactly what as I'm not a musician)

Meh. It adds some variety. And at least it makes sense, as opposed to Queensland trying to poach "Ring of Fire" off us

I haven't heard it yet Greeney!

Fancy sending me a personally signed copy, i'm sure i'll love it!

PS - I just did a search for it on LimeWire and got "Phoenix Anthem sexy girl  has shaking orgasm during sex" and "Phoenix Anthem shaved ebony hooker from ghetto sucks interracial". Is it either of these cos if it is it sounds awesome!!!
