Yeah on at 65 mins with Leiria, 2-1 down and that's the final scoreline. One of his team mates failed to convert a pen late on.

Great to see him at long last playing again. I think Bazeley mentioned he's a chance of playing the Vanuatu & Samoa games next month.

Looks like the Portuguese 2nd tier do observe the FIFA window. There is probably a few international CAF players running around in the league. Singh has a team mate who played at the AFCON earlier this year for Guinea-Bissau

At this stage surely he's better off trying to lock in a spot for his new club than flying across the world to play Samoa

Mate, if he puts 13 past Samoa there will be clubs lining up around the block for his signature, mark my words. 😂

But in all seriousness you are 100% correct. Normally I'd want Sarpreet every window we could get him, but he's not been playing, and he really needs to be forcing his way into the starting XI over in Portugal - Even though the league stops for the international break, the travel could well limit that for their first game back after the window.

Disappointing. Singh an unused sub in a 2-1 loss for Leiria. They did have a young Brazilian midfielder sent off in the 87th min (1-1), conceding in the 98th min.

Yep, nice for him to get all that flowing his way after recent times.

As far as tap ins go, that wasn't the easiest. Lots of little bounces here and there, including on on his shin which almost went back to the keeper...well done. Hopefully one of many more. We all know he is much better than the Portuguese 2nd div

Still think he should have signed  for Auckland. He'd be ripping it up in a winning team right now, and his value would be going up and up.

Singh with Leiria’s first goal (a pen) in a 2-1 win. Good signs he’s already on pen duties, presumably he won it

Off at 72 mins (2-0)

Leiria up to 9th, and next travel to Tondela, one of Tyler Boyd's old clubs

Better than his tame effort for the AWs back in March against I think Tunisia. Hopefully another sign some confidence mojo returning

Singh on the double!
2nd and 3rd goals as Leiria lead 3-0 late 2nd half

Nice to see

Edit - finishes 4-1. Hopefully Singh can lead mid table Leiria on a promotion push 2nd half of the season

I laughed in disbelief when they showed his goals on the TV1 sports news this evening.

I mean, outside of Chris Wood scoring in the Premier League, how often do they ever show or talk about other individual Kiwi footballers who ply their trade abroad?

Good to see Singh coming in to form and getting good minutes though. Exactly what we need for the AW's.
