Want to help get more people to the Phoenix vs Melbourne game this Friday night? Were looking for some keen Phoenix supporters to help us get the message out there distributing flyers.

Were looking for between 4 and 6 volunteers to hand out flyers Wednesday lunch time12-2pm around town, Thursday morning 7.30am-9am at the Railway Station, and Thursday lunchtime 12-2pm.

email me on tonyp@wellingtonphoenix.com - it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Also, once you have all volunteered to help Tony and the club out, bring a fiver on Friday for a Black and Yellow Santa hat.  We've commissioned them just for the occassion (the $5.00 covers costs, no - or little profit margin) so get in quick.  We don't have thousands.

We may have have some traditional (cheaper and tackier) Red and White as well, but no guarantees.

Where would we be able to purchase these?

Not the best results lately so its gonna be hard to get 10. But I can do it. I'm sure I've got 9 friends on facebook...

Gotta get all those casual fans in now. Make sure they know that there isn't another home game for a long time.

Yeah I made an event on FB and invited a few people. Used the Greenacre image.

I might whip up a poster type thing of my own if I have time tomorrow.

is there gonna be some kind of special ticket price to try and get those "maybe's" to come along?

It's a fair point, but I don't think it's fair that people who never go get cheap tickets, while people who always go get no discount.

That's probably why there is no price offer - it would have to be for everyone.

On the flip side, we win on Friday 200-300 casual come on discount tickets, and come to the next home game, bring acouple of mates.... etc

This is the best time to convert casual sports fans to Nix fans, with the Rugby season over and the All Whites WC qualfiication.

It is a bit late now, but have the nix spoken to NZ Cricket?

Could have had a special $30 ticket gets you to watch the test at the Basin all day, and entry to the nix at night. Coul;d have been good.

Or at least some sort of advertising at the game, there will be 3 thousand or so,  most not usual nix attendees.

All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

If that the case, do season ticket holders get cheap tickets to the cricket?

Jarrod Smiths birthday today.

Edit: I failed.  Saw it on facebook.  Upon closer inspection it is actually Jordan Smiths birthday.
