Yeah it's great tv viewing, I'm so jealous I'm not there at the games though... I'm so tempted to digg into my savings and fly down to every home game for the rest of the year! Surely watching the Phoenix is more important than anything else I could blow my money on. I need to find a job in Wellington...

The crowd was great to be in boys took their shirts Off :S and after the game while i was at the train station the chanting continued it was an on field and off field effort and thats the reason we won. Also it stayed loud after there goal

this is it, the phoenix are rising!! i have been excited about the phoenix ever since they kicked off their first game against melbourne, i just think there is a buzz about the phoenix and they play exciting football, hopefully we keep this up we can reach the finals, especially with the yellow fever behind the phoenix who did the team proud as well, in fact the WHOLE crowd played their parts and im so proud of ALL the fans for doing the team proud!!

There are plenty of jobs in Wellington, the place is buzzing at the moment.
Have a look at http://www.seek.co.nz or something.

I moved here from Auckland last year and I'm loving it here - much better than Auckland. A proper football team was the icing on the cake for me ...

Man, I'd love to be middle of a big crowd at the caketin instead of watching it in a totally empty pub with rock music blaring out of a speaker right next to my ear. I got into the game OK though and was on the edge of my seat right to the end.
Loved the shirts-off with 10 minutes to go - only a true Wellingtonian could manage that in a southerly!

I'm gonna be at the next home game for sure! It's going to be a beautiful summers-like Sunday afternoon - can't wait!!

To put this great win into perspective, there will not be many teams who will score 4 goals against Perth, given that ALL the teams are relatively matched, come the end of the season, Goal difference could be the difference in making the play offs or missing out - WELL DONE, now for another win!!

Hi Siac, Where you flying from? Get a job on the Kapiti coast and then you get the best of being handy to the BigTin and miss Wellingtons weather, I haven't missed a game so far and I can tell you the standard of play is right up there. Sunday would have blown you away, anyways if you think I can help with a place to doss down for the night, drop me a line, I"m in Otaki and I will be going to all the next lot of home games unless I die beforehand. We have a great team and we need all the fans we can get to go to the games, and we need all the supporters who can make a contribution with transport, accomodation etc., to put themselves out for those less fortunates, students, Aucklanders, bored to death world cup rugby watchers, etc., etc.,

Cheers

LOL  they would end up looking like a ships rivets !!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Hi Zedned,

Thanks heaps for the accomodation offer, I'll definetly keep it mind. One of my mates can get me cheap accomodation in wellington but if that falls through I'll send you an email and see if the offers still on. What games I go to will depend on how busy I am with work, finances, etc. Once again thanks!
