This is the all important match and we need goals to win, so an attaking formation is essential.

According to this weeks goalmouth scramble, only Richard Johnson is in serious doubt. I would still have Aloisi bracketed.

aloisi is still injured, but is very keen to play saturday, imo
I don't think felipe is a striker last week he kept hanging
around deep right midfield and was supposed to be up
front
i'd like to see vaughan start with smeltz up front drop felipe to maybe an attacking centre mid and have elrich on the right daniel on the left plus with adelaide we'll need 4 at the back so maybe

i reckon we'd lack attacking flair if we play both brown and johnson you only need one holding mid the other three can have a free role (so to speak) cov's holds the ball up real well and distributes well too, smeltz takes one too many touches sometimes and let's defenders off the hook a bit, i think anyway
plus adelaide have players like travis dodd,kristian sarkies and nathan burns that will cut us up with three at the back if they get around our mids or into space
still i'm looking forward to the game that's for real

We need Aloisi and/or Johnson. Pref Aloisi because I find Johnson
is similar to Brown while Aloisi is better getting forward.

From what I have seen so far, us playing three at the back just means that we have a high central defender rather than a high left-back, which lets us put all of our best players on the park.

3-5-2 is by far our best formation! we seem to play more attacking
footy with it, but also with Rees running the back we still seem
reasonbly secure at the back.

I agree with ya, def only need 3 at back with Brown holding. I'm not sure if Lia should play ahead of Ferrante or not since he redeemed himself last week and saved our arse..
So maybe Daniel gets benched and half time super sub, or Ferrante. Lia should really get a start in my opinion anyway
