From this article:

"Glory marquee man Mile Sterjovski said Dadi's work ethic had improved since switching clubs.

"Yeah for whatever reason (that's been the case), I'm not sure what it was," Sterjovski said.

"The things he's been doing for Wellington he wasn't doing for us."

May be that's because your team is sh*t Miles.

Maybe it's because you can't get bicycle kick goals from the friggen sidelines, dumbasses.

^^ THIS

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

looks like the glory are going to have some injury problems. I says 10 players are struggling with fitness.

GO THE NIX!!!

Namely, "playing football"  and "getting off the bench"

From what I am hearing they don't really have a coach atm.

I would be very surprised if Mitchell is the coach next year.

Oh and Dadi's heart is still purple

"Perth is my city now, it's my home now," Dadi said before heading to ME Bank Stadium for a Phoenix training session today. "Of course to leave Glory is painful. It's difficult because I didn't expect that. But I have to move on. That's life."

Can understand that though, the man's only just come to Wellywood.  Give him a couple of months

LOL

Apparently his family are still living in Perth. Its just him out in Wellington. There was a thread on how supporters will react to Dadi.

Most of them said they would not boo him, unless he acted like a twat when he scored.

Anyways, I'm heading up to the city. No more sh*t-stirring from me. If anyone in Perth (full of nux supporters) wants to banter pre-match. Elephant and Wheelbarrow on Lake Street is the place to go...

Weather is not too bad atm...

I thought this game was scheduled for 7pm. Making a NZ team kick off at midnight (NZ Time) is f**ken ridiculous. Not to mention impossible for me to watch

Lol, Whats a good time for you?
Since when do away sides get favours?
Anyway, any earlier and it would be a lot hotter, so its better for us
7pm local time makes sense, and makes sense for Foxtel to roll from one game to the next.

Should be a great game, 3-1 Nix, though be happy with the 3pts, any which way.

Just interested to know why you can't watch a midnight kick off?

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

... something about "the clock striking 12" and "pumpkins and slippers" ????

Its in Perth, its a 7:00 kickoff there. Can't really be much earlier, unless you expect them to put on a daytime Friday kickoff while everyones working and so none of the home fans can make it?

Holy snot is Perth 5 hours behind? I thought it was only 3 hours. Anyway I guess that's always gonna be a downside to holding the record for the longest away fixture in the world (I think).

A chilly 29 degrees in Perth at the moment- will get up to 31. Could've been worse I guess but coming from rainy Welly that is going to feel like the Sahara.

While Welly to Perth is a huge 5250kms a couple of Russian teams have that honour, from the baltic to Vlad = 7,360 kms.

Current temp's about 26 degrees with a few hours to go before kick off, so hopefully it'll fall away a little between now and then.

26deg is ok. The boys should be fit by now. Weather shouldn't be a problem.
ccm v gcu so far so good, 0-0.

Apparently Jacob Burns might not play for Perth tonight. Not that I rate him especially highly but he is a 'Socceroo'.

Actually one of those 2 russian teams were relegated making WGTN - Perth the longest trip in domestic football. (It was noted in the full version of the 09-10 fixture doc the FFA put out).
