I think Zullo might have being feeling the effects of that challenge in the first half! But that was heart breaking for a while I thought we might actually do It and get a 1-0 victory.

 perhaps that Seo's a dirty little prick like Johnny giles used to be and that's why to of our lot have had a go at him twice,

or there was stuff all contact  (or none - that picture was inconclusive) and he got a fellow pro sent off

or - if the pictures prove it - elrich made a big mistake


if it is either of the first two situations we have to really get into him verbally on dec 14 -  in my opinion

I am so pissed off.

Before I go on my rant,I'd like to say the boys played fantastic today. Old was immense, Christie great. Asset to the club.

Now. Those two f**king poofs on the wing. Biggest poofs Ive seen iny my f**king life. You dont even have to touch the nobs for them oto go down. Referee favoured them all night, those commentators though the sun shone out their arse even though their both sh*te! 2 lasses they were, looked like girls and spoke like fags. :@

Referee - Where do I start?  Twat of the century. No sending off. Followed by corners that werent corners!!!! Fouls that werent fouls thanks to the 2 puffs as seen above. w**kers. Totally biased. Need a long look in the f**king mirror.

Commentators - 1st - stealing Braziliant off De jong. If you steal quotes of Fred de One tone you need to give up your job. So biased and speak utter sh*t the whole night. PLus, that guy has the most annoying voice ever, who gives these dicks jobs?!

Yep i agree and think last weeks result was lucky in the sense that we were luck we wernt behind by 2/3 in the early stages of the first half.Just as we really should of been here if mossy hadnt yet again kept us in the game.The facts speak for themselves with our goals conceded total and until that is rectified it really is going to be a struggle.

In saying that i will still be there in full voice next week,and will be WHEN WE DO TURN IT AROUND.

Absolutely appaling match in my opinion. Old really had a shocker, I don't doubt he has talent, but tonight... the less said the better.

Even if it had ended 0-0 I wouldn't have been happy with it. I don't know why Ricki didn't sub Felipe on.

With regards to Elrich, I didn't actually see an elbow in the replay, i just saw a player falling over, maybe that's just my TV, or the positioning of the cameras (I don't doubt their was an elbow though).

And we can't deny that that was a penalty. A blind ref would have spotted it. I no it was accidental, but still.

The only positives I can take from the match is that we have Lia and Johnson next week, and Ferrante showed promised when he smacked the ball against the bar.

What match were you watching? Old was outstanding!

The one thing good we can take out of this game was the defensive work when we went to 10 men. I thought it was pretty immense and Old really stepped up. 

Not really. What about when he headed the ball straigh to Reinaldo (or is it Heinaldo, those commentators confused me), who promptly smacked it against the bar?

I agree Old had a good game, I think O'dor may find it hard for him to get back into centre back against sydney

(and i know Ballane loves the Nix as much of any of us -so are you a Bhuddist or a Christian Ballane? - whats the secret? for my blood pressure's sake i might nedd to learn it!!)

Only unfortunate thing was the fact that Elrich lifted his elbow and even if that dick did take a dive Elrich needs to take the blame for lifting it even tho it cost us i have no sympathy for him.Mind you in saying that had it been HNs favourite player who had done i have no doubt he would have stayed on the pitch.

Awesome defence. Ignore the score boys we will rape them when they come to welly!!! We dereved at least a draw tonight, they played with a lot of guts and hussle

I actually thought the match was quite good until the sending off. Open football. Sure our defence was shaky, but I've come to grips with that.
One couldn't tell from the camera angles whether it was an elbow or not. He certainly went down like he'd been shot though. As did pretty much the rest of their team for much of the match. Disgraceful stuff, but the ref was lapping it up.

Moss a clear man of the match.

I thought Old played damn well tonight. He looked hungrier and more aggressive than he has in the past couple of games he's played, even though he did have a pretty shaky beginning, but tonight's loss by no means weighs on his shoulders -- he looked good.

There were some absolutely appalling refereeing decisions made tonight that had us on the cross for much of the game. That red card was pure, unadulterated ducktales. f**king ducktales.

But sh*t oh dear, next week is going to be immense.

very few defenders get through a match w/o making a mistake  - i thought our centre backs did ok (except for a few moment s between 15th and 30 minute)

after 1-0 (and some refs wouldn't have given that pen) we had to force it   - 3-0 doesn't do justice to our efforts

Phoenix played really well, cant believe te scoreline not just at all. Disappointed but I know things will get better,  Ricki needs to make more subs esp when we only have 10 men!!!!!!!

I thought the ref started off well, was unsighted for Elrich and then later in the second half he appeared to pref for the crowd. Only 13k attendence for such a large area. Good grief.

There's something about the way some players make physical contact that seems to cause the so-called 'brain explosions' in some players. We saw it with Steve Pantelidis elbowing the 'innocent' Joel Griffiths who was pulling him back and grabbing at him around the head and neck. It just seems to cause an impulsive reaction that results in an elbow. Brazilian Leonardo did it at USA '94 World Cup when the same was being done to him by one of the USA players, who got a broken jaw for his trouble. I'm sure I saw Pele do it once too, in a 'brain explosion' when he had simply had enough.
