Yes, Phoenix replied on Twitter yesterday that the grandstand is indeed going to be open.

Saw Smithy say on Facebook that Ifill was in Taupo this weekend, paper has him coming back next home game on 25th against Hawkes Bay

NZF Level 3 is in Taupo starting this Sat, ending next Sunday - pretty sure he (Ifill) is on the course.

Team Wellington is taking the Club World Cup money, won by Auckland, to invest it in some star players. TW wins the ASB Premiers to go into the Club World Cup. Meanwhile, AFC loose some of their best players because of their stellar performance.

Is that what's happening?

Not at all. The winner of the ASB Prem doesn't go to the Club World Cup. Auckland haven't lost any players yet. And I highly doubt that the reason the TeeDubs haven't been able to sign Iff's is because of the extra FIFA money that they probably haven't even seen a cent of yet.

dont players quite often leave ACFC after the club World Cup? It's usually why they're playing for the side.

Is this game even winnable for the WeeNix's? Anyone have a idea who will be in the starting 11?.

will be interesting to see which senior players are given game time.

I didn't think wee nix were a chance to beat Auckland, so I guess you can no longer rule them out of a possible win for the rest of the season!

Both ACFC and TW are off to the OFC later this year to try and qualify for the CWC.

Should be a great game. Holds bragging rights.  Nix senior players are back from holiday. TW in injury and suspension trouble.

Not so often. Guerau, Esposito got overseas contracts - can't think of any others.

Not sure how accurate they tend to be, been a few times we have snuck in first teamers who weren't mentioned on those. Will wait until the teams are announced before considering putting any money on this.

I'm not expecting WeeNix to field any heavy hitters. They're about development, there's nobody needing the minutes, so it'll be steady as she goes I expect.

Have to say Andy Hedge seems to be doing a magnificent job in his first real gig as a head coach. That result against Auckland City was a stunner and Ernie seems genuinely interested in signing a couple of the players so I would say that is pretty much every box ticked.

surprised only jbs and rufer are currently listed. Would think ridenton, if available, should still be getting picked and italiano could do with game time and good opportunity for him as he doesn't have a 1st team game to occupy him this weekend.
