I (like you guys) have been living and breathing Wellington Phoenix and Yellow Fever for the past 6 months and now that it's pretty much over (minus the finals and the YF prize giving) I am beginning to wonder... What the hell are we going to do in the off season??

Should the YF have a monthly drink at the Four Kings?
Just something to think about, what do you guys reckon?
Any ideas?

Oh real? I didn't know they had goals up there... So hard to find places with fixed goals.

Velodrome? Contender for Wellington's worst ground!

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Trouble is it's either like Concrete or a mud bath.

Kelburn 16:00 Sunday for this weeks kick-around.  There is a thread on it.

Taking my seat at Mt. Smart to watch the Warriors. I'll also be involved in the local footie up here. So between those and another wee Jag due to arrive in July, I'll have plenty to keep me occupied.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Off-season for the Phoenix = Regular season for local footy.
Play or watch, and join in the banter on the regional football threads on this site.

Well, perhaps you can sit down and communicate with your significant other for the first time in half a year.

Three for me, and two for them.

Spend all the time convincing them to come with you to the Phoenix next time around...

Well I only just started fornicating so I think just fornicate is probably good enough for me.

I'm all for the kickrounds, pity that 4 on a Sunday slightly conflicts with another regular activity of mine. Can still make it most of the time I'm sure.

Maybe pre-work/school get-togethers for things like the CL final?

See, this is why marriages break down. He's not being proactive about the fornication is he Feverish?

Take her out to dinner, talk about HER LG.
You'll be getting the fornication on in no time

Surely that's 'off-season'?

As for the apparent lack of fornication during the season. C'mon people make an effort, that's what the half-time break's for!!

I reckon Lonegunmen is right, that'd be cool.
Plus... The fact that alcohol is around and available is very important.
I just came back to this thread... Fornication aye... Hmm.
Well, something to take on board I suppose.
Critical Lemon, don't disclose your sexual encounters haven't reached double figures yet.

Team Welly, Lacrosse, uni, work, the usual. Except with the added anticipation of waiting for the next Phoenix season.
