Results for sure! Attempting to play quality football (which they have done so thats good)

Results, good football and great atmosphere. We're already well on the way with 2 out of 3.

We don't need cheerleaders and stupid songs played on the PA every time the ball goes out for a throw-in.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

WINNING
WINNING
WINNING

Forget the gimmicks ,mascots ,fireworks, brain dead dj,s and semi naked burds risking hypothermia in a southerly!

If the footballs right the crowds will be right

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Well over 10,000 to each home game so far isn't too bad in my opinion.

I've got a feeling we'll probably end up with an average of between 10 - 12,000. Which wouldn't be a bad effort in our 1st season.

i second that, as the season goes on and the results, which will start coming in, the crowd will be good as it already is!!

Tell people they can dress up for two whole days and have a party, in between watch a few games...Oh we have this its call the NZ Seven's. Sold out in 20 minutes. But seriously be happy after two games the crowd numbers have been great. A win will help keep the numbers up. Rome wasn't built in a day and as long as the Phoenix product is entertaining people will come.

I agree - a loyal core will always attend, but will shrink if a team doesn't win. Casual punters will, let's face it, be the demograph that burgeons the crowd to higher levels than we've seen already, cos there just aren't 30,000 or even 20,000 diehard footers fans in wgtn (I'd love to be proved wrong here though).

So to attract them, you've gotta have the right result to match the spectacle. In the past the Warriors (not to mention Southampton over the last couple of seasons ) have proved that entertaining losers are still losers.

go the 'nix.

results are what will win the crowds and the league. We play good football (none of that long ball crap) but we need to play faster football with skilled wingers, we have the good central players! when we get the skill and speed down the flanks we will kill teams like Perth, Newcastle, Queensland, Sydney. and cause Adelaide and melbourne some problems. Why are the Marinators doing so well? they attack with pace down the flanks like they did against us. Oh and we need fans behind a goal, try and create a kop end to suck the ball into the net for our lads!

not always wins but goals and good results. every1 should of enjoyed the comback vs melbourne but rugby guys dont like 1 goal in 90mins. hopefully some razzle dazzle footy like the warriors do will attract non- soccer fans. hard core soccer fans will come no matter what so we need the rugby fans ect to show up

Sunshine.

Those Friday night games in November over three consecutive weeks could be huge.

Need games at a family friendly time - which is what we'll be getting over the next few weeks.

but, we need to win....NZ supports are well known for following winning teams - but not so losing ones....

Next season, we could have some double headers - rugby at 4.00, football at 7. 1 hour between games should be enough to change posts etc

1 hour should be enough? Changing posts, what about changing the paint on the field .. and what about the condition of the field after the rugby match? It'll be more cut up than an emo. Add a bit of rain and you'll be looking at another Happy Valley park.

But I'd definitely be keen on more matches being played at 7pm/7:30pm rather than 5pm.

another key factor is probably our attitude, if we stayed buzzed about the Nix, talk to our mates and workmates about the buzz of a game at the Ring of Fire, and just generally enjoy the whole season (with its up and downs) folks will want some of what we're having!

Fever fridays!

What about local supporters groups, ie paraparaumu, Upper Hutt, Porirua etc as not evryone can get into Wellingon conveniently .........by the way Auckland Jag, I was born in Glasgow, and actually knew another Partick Sizzle fan, in spite of which he was quite a likeable guy, lol.
What about France 0- Scotland 1, did that float your boat?  It seems half of Scotland is moaning about the lack of game coverage, don't blame them too.
