We couldn't make it in due to RL issues.

So I'm watching it on the telly. In the second half what is that awful sound the crowd is making? On the TV it sounds like "Awwwww, Awwwww"

Please say it's not us.

Could just be collective yawning after another dirge-like display of 'football'?

At least there are no megaphones at the RoF. I've turned down the commentary of the Sydney v Heart game because of some knobhead's moronic mega-bellowing. Should be banned.

Yeah agree, should probably start pulling some oldies out of the bag. Just for a bit of diversity* in the news room

*Diversity is an old old wooden ship, used during the civil war era.

I would be surprised if the affiliates were concerned about the lack of an old, old wooden ship, but nice try

The 5405 people who turned up may have had something to do with the lack of chants. Even the fever zone looked quite sparse. Why the poor turn out?

It has to be weather related, had been pretty horrid around. I know there a lot of fans who will turn up no matter what, but a fair number are weather dependent. (Could barely see the hills out of the stadium last night, was a bit eerie).

Also the weather meant Welly airport was closed all day, and Pram trains were cancelled and delayed too, so these may have played a part.

It's just been a sh*te few months with too much going on and I'm gutted.

Once Xmas is done I should be there drunk, hoarse and my usual self.
