I wonder what the real beef is? I don’t share the same level of passion as many obviously do and my only interaction with YF is via this forum because there is no other avenue available to keep connected to the goings on. No doubt the current YF leadership can be petty at times but by and large they provide a pretty good outlet for fans. This forum for one, the YF at games and the blog is exceptional (as it was under the previous group).

If the new group is anything more than just a fan - expansion why don’t they just come out and say it instead of all this cryptic bullshark. At the end of the day it’s no big deal to most of us except as nosey observers.

I think this bothers the YF brigade more than a lot of people are letting on.

I think that the YF haven't made any sort of comment about the TT because they're not involved in it and responding to the stop the cop and splitters stuff doesn't benefit active support for either group.

I'm thinkng it's good with different people leading a charge for a similar cause, nothing wrong with a little competition and effort of others. We're all there to support the same club but with different puppets as the representatives.

What if there were no political agendas but just two or more groups wishing to support the team in different areas of the ground? Dale has no time for these mind games being a new dad! Now change that nappy.

I think instead of cheap shots we should be all working towards making more noise and being proactivearound the ground

On reflection, this sounds waaaaay too blunt.

Anything that creates more atmosphere in the stadium is good in my eyes. So best of luck to them. A few of them are on the forums so it's probably best to leave it to them to explain their reasons for leaving the zone.

For me personally, if it means more active support, new people getting involved, and more fan-made noise in the stadium, then it can only be a good thing.

Now if we could get the people around by Aisle 30 etc to get involved more noisely, it would help too. Think positive during our darker hours of results!

I heard that the training facilities were far better in that part of the stadium

That's a mature response.

I can only see good things here as long as there is no negativity between the groups.

The most obvious being more active supporter bars can help with causal people getting involved if they grab a drink before the game.

I know I went to a YF event a few years ago and initiated a conversation with a senior YF member who when I said my forum name they laughed and walked away.  Haven't been to one since.

Back then if there was a different group to join at a different bar I may have wound up being more active.  Now I have family life so CBF but any new people in that position having new options can only be good for Nix supporters.

Thanks for all of the responses people.

They start small as I found out with my protests but good luck to them. The more positive noise at games, the better. I now sit where Micki wants to sit when he comes to games. Which means different areas of the ground unless there's a $1,200 give-away in the 78th minute......
