Rojas should be sensible, stay one more season, and leave as a hero.

Or, he can go now, be disliked and barely remembered.

Zero chance.

Whether he stays or goes he'll be remembered and loved.  After all, he was Fever's boy before he was the Phoenix's hero!

Actually if he goes over to Sydney, Tardistan or Roar because he thinks there are better Smiggle shops there I'll be spewing.

That's what I should've added - I meant if he moved to another A-League team he'd be disliked.

If moved elsewhere, good luck to him.

On that reckoning he could actually sign for Hawkes Bay United too!

Napier Smiggle FTW!!!

As a side note, when did Marco start being awesome? What was his first good game for us? I can't remember

From unreliable memory I don't think he was awesome last season.  Good, proficient, but not awesome.

His awesomeness has been most blatent after Ifill's injury, but happy to be corrected re earlier signs of awesomeness.

Also other than the outing in the wet in Oz he has been cosinstently awesome, even when he was getting manhandled in the last couple of games.

He's awesome.

and YES, there is a Smiggles in Napier and a better one [so my son tells me] in Havelock North. Who knows what is over in Hastings..... So on the basis of Smiggles per square mile, Hawke's Bay is a no brainer for Marco to move to and play for the mighty HBU.

I know, I know - you guys have Splash Planet (half price for locals).  And Possum World.

I just hope Marco has been to those places so your bargaining power is reduced.

We went to Splash Planet over Xmas, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

It's 'triffic. Have to go early when it opens otherwise there's long queues at all the activities.

Did I mention half-price for locals?

I haven't seen a Smiggles yet in Adelaide, so we're perhaps ok on that front.

Edit - there's one on Rundel Mall. I've got a lighter, who's got the petrol?

Apparently the CCM fan picked Marco for the scholarship.

"Ifill had already urged the midfielder to stay loyal to the Phoenix, and the Yellow Army fans that organised a scholarship for Rojas two years ago."
