it probably should be smeltz coz hes been awesome but ive got a soft spot for siggy and his story

Great season - but we needed him the last two games where he didn't pop up.

Siggy and Dodd great season.
Moss even singled out Dodd as the guy that he loves having in front of him and called him the rock of the defence. Even though people now realise he's gold and rate him, he's still under-rated.

Good points, however Bertos for me, he provided most of the opportunities for goals and without him i think we would be a lesser team.

looking at some of the fans player of the season votes..hmmmm Are we all watching the same games?  some of the choices have played for a whole two hours... and others .well..lets be fair they wouldnt be player of the season if they had played all the games let alone the odd one

Siggy for me too. A big part of that was how he exceeded expectations. Although he seemed to be quite good against Team Welly, I wasn't convinced he could make the step up from NZFC. I was wrong. I've liked Moss, Dodd, Manny and Bertos too but Siggy has been my favourite this year.
