Who would you take..?

If you could take two players from any other A league team and swap them for what we have now

- One midfielder

- One centre back

Just wondering how our players would rate on paper and some of our senior pros would seriously be left behind. Was looking at Contreras, Jaliens, Milligan in today's game and you think we'd take any of them in a heart beat

Im guessing if you put this out to other teams fans there wouldnt be to many of ours they would want, and therein lies the problem.

On paper, most of ours would not rate.

On the field too. Ooooops. It's just missing something. A trigger that will get them working.

To be honest, I'd take 2 midfielders.

A number 6 & a number 8.

Merrick has efficiently been forced to play 3 players in there at once to cover the roles that the 2 players should do.

I'd get a Milligan or Brattan to break up play but also the ability to move it on after winning it.
And then a ball playing mid like a Miller or McKay or even Nichols who can also defend but get forward and provide more assists/goals.

Guess I'd throw Mooy in there too

I'd actually rather not have Contreras. Jaliens yes

Berisha. He's a dick, but he gets goals.

Aaron Mooy is off contract after this season. He'd be a great buy for us

Opening the chequebook is the only way. Seems doubtful though. Welnix seem to be very quiet this season.

Would that even stretch to Jacob Burns "dick" levels? Seems he might be on the lookout for a new club soon.... Ha.
